WoW Okay. Maybe it's time to uninstall and stick to Cake for now. I really am having such an issue finding somewhere decent to play.(Damn US) I'll just move to the UK. LOL
Yah of the two go with intertops for sure!!! I've read a ton of problems players are having with withdraw on Cake but many others saying that withdraw on Intertops is pretty quick. Seems like a no-brainer between the two.lol it is same like cake only you withdraw money faster from inter i think
Intertops layout is the same exact layout as Cake. That's the whole point of it being a skin.
The best part about Intertops is they have games that are exclusive to their skin... meaning you won't find them on Cake or any other Cake skin. The traffic for these games are extremely low, which gives them extreme value. They also have Intertops-only promotions which aren't really valuable, but they're at least something.
I hope the CC games will also continue in some form.
+1
The only difference is the color scheme. Intertops is much better than Cake for a variety of reasons, but most importantly they process their own Cashouts. I would disagree with the comment that Intertops doesn't offer much value. If your getting Rakeback(hopefully you are????), deposit/reload bonus, Gold Cards/Chips, plus the Intertops specific promotions there is actually a decent amount of value when you add it up. I would also point out that Intertops/Cake Network uses the Dealt method of Rakeback calculation which is much more valuable for Full Ring Games and for TAG players.
Unfortunately, you arent' going to find much better places to play then Intertops if you are a US resident. You could muti Network to help find the best games available that you play and to help with your volume. This is what I do and it's about the best option currently for US players.
Just signed up. Played Bodog a little and Cake but still having depositing issues, i'll stick to their FR's. Anyone else play here? Any tips?
I meant their specific promotions don't have much value... such as their "endurance challenges"... usually getting only a few % of the rake you're paying back, if you end up qualifying at all. The freerolls are great, but you can never really count that because of the fickle nature of cashing in any tournament (having said that, I did cash in one of the September endurance challenge freerolls). When you add it up, like I said, it's better than nothing, but not worth chasing after. They have lackluster support when it comes to their promotions, so it's often hard just to find out enough information to properly pursue any extra Intertops-specific bonuses.
I am getting some form of rakeback, but traditional rakeback wasn't available to me when I opened my account. I could do much better rakeback-wise by playing other sites. I do know the games are quite soft and great for TAG players with rakeback, but I'm generally a tournament player... and I do love Intertops for their exclusive guarantee tournaments which almost always have overlay. I should probably go after a deposit/reload bonus at some point, but I've actually never had to deposit on any online poker site.
I do agree, without the standard RB (33% calculated using the dealt method) the promotions wouldn't be near as good.
That's where your value has gone. Unfortunately you have to be very careful when signing up to Intertops or you won't receive the standard RB. However, if you do sign up at the appropriate place and get the standard 33% RB, which I have, then they actually do have a lot of value on top of the RB.
You keep saying that I'm saying Intertops has no value... and that's completely NOT what I'm saying. I've personally done really well on Intertops regardless of how little rakeback I get. Even without rakeback, their value is extremely high from the soft play and relatively-easy withdrawals.
I have issue with Intertops promotions... they're mostly a joke and rarely return more than 5% of the rake you put into them. Their customer service is also very poor, which compounds the problem with their promotions (some of which is Cake's fault... some Intertops' fault).
With Merge opening up to US players as early as tonight, I'm really hoping US players end up getting some better competition for our business in easier deposits and withdrawals and better promotions.

Hmm I might have to look into intertops...and what Rakeback affiliate do you guys use...I've always had Rakebrain.
Ya'll, I'm really starting to like Intertops. I'm in the USA. I had trouble getting my card to go through, so I called the number they emailed me for customer assistance depositing. They took care of me and had my money on the site in under 5 minutes. Wish there was moretraffic, but many of the MTTs have a few hundred players and I think it's a good option for us until things get better.
