Wasn't sure if this is the appropriate forum but does anyone have experience playing roulette for money online? All these sites on a Google search look a bit shady and unestablished.

If you don't want a rigged game, might I suggest not playing roulette.

Ultimatebet has roulette and blackjack.

But seriously why would you play table games online? I admit I have dusted off a few dollars on UB specifically with rakeback money but its not like they were "fun" or in any way long term profitable.

At least roulette at a casino is kinda fun, less rigged too! :D:D:D

I don't think you can trust any of those games online. Just win your money in real life so that at least when you lose your money than, you feel like it's rigged.

I use the Casino in Doyles Room and Sportbooks. You download seperately from the Poker. I don't play Roulette much but they have a good selection of games. You can even play for fun. Sportsbook had a good promotion for new clients. Spend 20 get 40. Don't know if its still going on. Haven't been to the site in a couple months.

Thanks I never noticed UB had that game. Do all sites require a minimum bet? Are there any sites that let you wait a few spins? I am one of those that believe the probability of the next spins result is somehow dependent on the previous results. :D

If you are going to try it, I would go to Coral Bookmakers if you are able to join (don't know your location). You get a free bonus which you can cash out risk free.

If you can then pm me and I will tell you how :)

bodog has a casino. [old link~tb] They are offering a $20 match for the first $20 deposit. No unlocking required. Does this tell me it's rigged? Probably. ;) :p

TBH, people playing poker against each other keeps the sites somewhat honest. And I'd probably trust Bodog as much as anyone. But playing games of chance against the house software? No thanks. Not Bodog, not anywhere - except perhaps Vegas or A.C..

I think you need to think about how sites play casino games. They don't need to rig anything as the games have always played in favour of the house.

Black Jack has the least house edge of all the games and all sites will pay an average of around 99%.

Roulette and other games will be different. If you play 10 hands you may get lucky or unlucky. If you play 1,000,000 hands you will be down 1%.

No need to rig a thing, Vegas was never built on winners, table games & slots are what pay. Live poker rake pretty much pays for the dealers.

I think you need to think about how games can be rigged. This is why I said I 'might' play these games at Vegas and AC. Even the slots. Because I know they are regulated and inspected, and set to be close to 99% in the big venues. While as you say there may not be a "need to rig a thing", true, there might not be a reason not to do so. But just ther same, might be a bid reason to do so. I just don't trust these site to do the right thing on their own, nor be regulated and instected as they are here in the U.S.. Hell, do they even disclose that the win/loss %s are?!?!?????

I'm not likely to trust any online roulette. The house edge is huge to start --and, unlike poker, you are playing against the house all the time. Why get into an unregulated, unsupervised situation with a game that favors the house???? I'll do play money, tho. :)

Half the fun of roulette live is the people, playing with friends. It's boring otherwise.

Yes, the main UK bookies are regulated as strongly as those in the US. All payout details are available and verified. There are lots of other casinos on the net which are springing up all the time and I would be very careful of those (several stories of non payment etc)

Just to clarify - I do not play casino games as the house edge will always win, unless they give a bonus which I can convert to cash (done successfully for over £1000 profit so far on roulette and black jack bonuses :)).

Although their poker software needs work, Bodog's casino is very good. They also have fairly regular promotions where they will match casino chip purchases. (ie, buy $10 in chips, get $10 free) Minimum bet on their roulette tables is $1.
