hey guys,

My bro and I live together at same house with 1 computer and we both play at full tilt. We both wanted to freeroll our way rather than give out our bank info. So we would sometimes play on each others accounts trying to win cash. We managed to get about $40 dollars in 1 account but now I want to deposit. he stopped playing and i know ft has a problem with multi accounts. Would I hav a problem withdrawing when i can with this situation? Should I just ask ft to discard both accounts so I can get one with rakeback and can wwithdraw from. Also, I've played at my work on the computer. Is that going to be a big deal?
Thanks

Just play on your own account and you should be fine.

Not if you can prove who you say you are. They will ask for ID and usually a bill with your address on it. Also if you guys ever colluded, just give up now because they will check that type of stuff out before sending you money.

As long as you were not chip dumping playing HU it should be fine. He may need to verify his ID as well if you go to cash out just to prove there is 2 people in the house with accounts.

No, they don't do that, and if you open another one, they will know when you try to cash out.
I would think if he is not playing there anymore, there might not be a problem. Why would you chip dump when you could just send a p2p transfer?
If you did it alot, I would prob send an email explaining the whole situation and confessing but say you didn't know it was against the rules and will never do it again, blah blah blah...

I have an account and so does my son, I know u can't have 2 accounts for yourself, so when my son opened one up on the same pc I asked ft if it was alright to have 2 accounts I was told we both could have accounts there as long as we kept them separate, and we couldn't play on the same table at the same time, also when I first started playin online I forgot my pw so I just opened another account, I played on that one for a year or so but when I found out u could only have one I got a hold of ft and explained it to them and I was told I had to forfeit the 2nd account, I only had a few bucks in it from freerolls, and was told I could only use the first account I opened.

I don't know why they are so anal about this type of stuff...unless of course you are actually playing with multiple accounts or colluding and trying to actually decieve your opponents....

No, I think if you make the first move to contact them, and just explain the situation, and like I said, just tell them you didn't realize it was against the rules and you just joined a poker forum and read a post there and found out, and you don't want to jeopardize your account, that is why you are sending an email, oh and you are really sorry. Don't forget the blah blah blah part. I am sure it will be fine.

Good luck and let us know.

Oh if you did not do it alot, I would not send the email, just let a sleeping dog lay.

No. Creating a new account will only make your current issues worse. They will never allow you to create a new account. They might close your current account (very doubtful if you're being honest here) but that would be as a ban not as a way of letting you open a new account.
