Hi im from Romania and the transfer option player to player was disabled on pokerstars and i wonder why ? Someone know the answer ? They said to me there was some legal issues in my country..

Yes, they try to stop money laundering whatever it costs so that must be a reason. Are you looking to receive or to send money?

I think you need to get acquainted with the laws of their country and the recipient country of the sender. Contact PokerStars support and ask them to clarify the situation.

I think that is a very good , I feel secure with that because there is many players that use pokerstars to make bad things and if pokerstas see that you have a relationship with that other player your account will be closed

And why transfer money through a poker star account? For this, there are electronic payment systems such as skrill and neteller.

I think same problem we face here in Greece , cannot transfer money to another player . I guess the reason might be not to avoid taxation or maybe hide the profits someone might have , the government thinks ...

I do it all the time,,,to `stake` or `sponsor` another player,,i`ve made alot of $$$ :D

Oh, I understand now. He plays with your money, and if he makes profit he gives your money back plus a part of the winnings. Do you know personally the people you transfer money to or just chat online with them and take leaps of faith?

Funny that out of all the governments out there, the ones from Greece and Romania thought to avoid tax evasion...

People abuse a good thing and it can be taken away. Open a paypal account and you can trade funds to the hearts content.

I am from Romania .Some few years back there was an option for money transfer between players but now if you look into their terms and conditions , player to player real money transfer is disabled in Romania.It has been for the last 3 or 4 years from what I know .No further explanation from them why exactly but i dont think they will fix this anytime soon.

At the moment I use "much better". It is a great tool, simple and very fast.

Well, here in brazil there are some guys selling pokerstars USD, paying via player transfer. I think its because of that. Here the player to player transfer still allowed
