Touching the Community Cards

I've heard that if your cards, as you filp them up to show what you have, touches any of the community cards it's considered a fold regardless of what you have. I'm sure in a home games and some charity tournaments don't enforce this but some say casinos are very strict on this rule.:argh:

I believe it's the muck pile, not the community cards. Any card which touches the muck pile is considered a dead card. Not sure if that applies to the end of the hand at the showdown. Perhaps someone who plays in casinos a lot can clarify.

They won't enfore that at most casinos...i've done it before

ive never heard of this crap.

But i dont think most casions gives a dam.
as long as the dealer knows wat ure doing.

Believe me if i lost a winning hand cuz it touched a folded card the dealer would have to call the pit boss over and I'd probly be tossed out on my head with broken knuckles

the rule is if your cards touch the muck they are considered dead, not the community cards. though who knows, this might be enforced somewhere somehow
