Was dead fun! My first tourney with you guys! I finished 3rd and made some friends along the way. Yay!

I had no idea where to talk about this in the forum, so if theres a dedicated thread for this, sorry and please redirect!

Congrats on the finish..nice job, oh and welcome to the forum. Hang around a while and you'll find there are a great bunch of people here. See you in the threads (alas I'm American so I won't see you in the Wed. freerolls until they find a new site).

I just assumed he was talking about the Wednesday Titan freeroll. Since it still hasn't been sorted out to accommodate the US players, I just figured that they are continuing on with everyone else playing at Titan.

Yes, the ban is for US players at certain sites. Here is a list of sites that allow and have banned US players.

Basically, new legislation in the US forbids US banking institutions from sending/receiving money from gambling websites (e.g online casinos/pokerrooms). So in a proactive (overactive) response, some sites chose to run like cowards and ban US players (though the new legislation has nothing to do with playing poker online). That's about it in a nutshell. There are several threads on the site that may explain more. Try searching for things like "US", "Ban" and "Frist".
