Titan's new update this past week > some changes to the lobby (a 'new' lobby).
Can't say I was overly impressed... more like really disappointed as iPoker network is a huge fail in what one might consider to be pretty standard stuff on most pokersites (ie. synchronized breaks in MTT's, 'late registration' for Tourneys, & a ton of others > terrible structure & selection for SNG's, way too many 'speed rebuy' donkfests (not enough reg. freezeouts), no extended timer feature on most of their tourneys..etc. etc.
Thing bugging me the most since the 'update' is that I'm having a problem happening every time I'm on there now > Data Execution Prevention & the site gets shutdown by my computer (happened again today while deep in an MTT, on shortstack BvB with a clear shove hand & 'poof'.. I get shutdown ).
I wouldn't even bother playing on there this week aside from some priv. tourneys & other promo stuff , ie. that 2,000 pt. buyin $10K freeroll, the 'CanadaPayDay $1,250freeroll', 'Canucks R Us' tourney, etc. If it weren't for these I'd just play on williamhill instead (& will now be doing so if I can't get this stuff figured out with Titan).
Also, I've got pokerprolabs software & since the update it is no longer working for me on Titan but does work on WilliamHill so it's a no-brainer where I'll play from now on.
Another beef I have with Titan > their support is absolutely atrocious!!! I've had quite a few problems over the past couple years on there, have written to them with details each & every time & not ONCE was I ever helped out with any of it. (oh.. except one time I'm disconnect from a handful of tourneys & to compensate they send me some useless ticket to some winner-take-all freeroll & some other useless ticket as well... a 'refund' would've sufficed but they didn't even consider it).
I've also often wondered in the past > why do they not have some reps. on some of the forums? Why don't they take an interest in improving their site? You'd think that with the current state of online poker economy they'd step up just a weee bit, get it together & grab ahold of a bigger piece of the market.
Or how about a simple survey emailed to their customers, asking for what they might want to have on the site? On Titan I get none of this. You'd think this would be marketing101? Who do they employ on that site? (cuz they're failing miserably).
For awhile now I've considered withdrawling the majority of my Titan Poker bankroll & now I can't think of much of a reason to leave much on there at all (just add Titan to the list of other sites I rarely play on aside from some bonus stuff).
Anyone else experiencing issues with Titan since the 'upgrade' (< if you can call it that)? Any thoughts on what I can do to keep that DEP thing from occurring?
