I'v got two computers; a tired old Compaq running XP, and a newer but not new laptop running Linux
. Have always been able to run ipoker clients, incl Titan, on both machines, no problems at all. Don't know what they have done with their most recent 'updates' but they now require a lot more computer resources than before. And or some reason, Titan is the worst.
On the Compaq, the client is slower to open, log in, etc etc. Frequent errors and 'lost connections'.But the real crunch comes when I try to open a table or tournament. Errors right and left, loses connection with the server, or very often the client just crashes entirely.
With the client open, and logged in. at rest doing nothing, it shows the Titan client using 95% cpu.
It runs ok on the laptop, but the cpu working that hard causes the machine to overheat and shutdown after a few minutes.
Some of the other ipoker clients still run, tho much more slowly. But whatever they did with the client a couple of months ago, it's nearly impossible for me to run the Titan client now.
