Something to keep in mind for Titan $'s.... when making player-to-player transfers, you can only trade to same $'s (ie. US$s to US$s).

I would also select the currency of the tables i'm going to be playing on. 2+2 was talking about some errors when doing currency exchanges.

Any ideas to which site I should make my 1st deposit to? Ie for a great bonus ect? I work 9-5 weekdays so i'm just looking to play a few mtts/sngs/double or nothings at low stakes on evenings and weekends. Also should I have rakeback? A lot of questions I know, any Advise is a great help. Thanks.

Titan is good, but you really can't beat stars or full tilt for sheer volume of games. If you sign up to full tiltclear your cookies before signing up and sign up directly through full tilt and use rakeback pros for your rakeback. As a casual player, full tilt rakeback will benefit you more than stars' VIP program but I prefer stars software. I've heard that bodog is pretty soft too. Have a look around for some good sign up first deposit incentives like 110%-200% bonuses on some euro sites

When you play on £ and euro tables it doesnt record on poker tracker 3 so I preferred sticking with $.

Titan was the first room I played late last year and made a very small deposit..however I mostly did freerolls, some micro sngs and 2NL so never cleared the bonus. I think they have improved the softare since then (u couldnt resize the tables at that time).

I moved on to pokerstars and cleared a little bonus playing 5NL and now clearing a bonus on Fulltilt playing 10NL.

From memory titan dont give you that long to clear a deposit bonus..fulltilt give you 4 months and pokerstars 6 months (which is the longest im aware of).

I have heard the smaller poker sites have more fish..but im not sure -need to see for myself over time.

Anyone know exactly how long Titan gives you to clear bonus? I've scoured their website to no avail.

Also, I'll throw in a few points on my thoughts of Titan;

1) I find Titan online support to be superb, you can chat online with a real person whenever you like.

2) I have a Mac so I'm unable to download the client. I have to play on the browser version. From my vantage point the software is nowhere near as good as Full Tilt (the other room I play).

3) The tournaments are difficult to sort and find... especially since all times are stuck on GMT +1 (or -1) ?! They miss the 'little' things like time zones catered to the users actual timezone.

I think you have 3 months to clear...might be less but its certainly not longer than that.

If your intending to play low level MTT's & SNG's,DoN's,then I would advise staying clear of TITAN and all other sites on the ipoker network.
They charge a 20% entry fee for these games.(ie.$2+40c fee).
Way above most others, and double the amount on FT and PS,accept the $1 SNG's.
When you play 100's of these games, those extra 10c and 20c really add up.
These savings can be used for many more games.

Too right mate!:)
You can play whatever game you want, whenever you want.
Cardschat also has some freerolls and some good money added, real money games on FT as well.

Just an idea -> but why not try askin' the live support that are so easy to get ahold of? (lol). I believe it used to be 3mos. (2yrs. ago). When I first signed up on Titan I wasn't concerned with clearing the bonus & rarely ever played on the site. It wasn't until I'd been on there for awhile that I even took a look at the bonus & then realized it wouldn't be that difficult to clear it (when I first looked I thought it'd be difficult at micros) but by the time I looked it was too late to go for it, lol.

The site's software (Titan) has improved considerably in the past 2yrs. (since the non-resizable table days). Decent site now for playing low buyin, smaller field MTT's imo.($20-$30 freezeouts, & $5-$10 rebuys). Playing field size is ~100-200 players in the low buyin freezeouts & considerably higher in the rebuys (I think the $10rebuy there has an $18kguar.).

Fulltilt's a great choice though OP... if I were going with just one site I'd be picking Fulltilt all day long. It does kinda depend on what you're planning on playing though.
Something to perhaps consider -> some of the smaller sites have weaker play on them (ie. UB, Merge (Carbon), Bodog, etc.). Might be a better choice for a first site to play on. (sounds contradictory I know... but just sayin' what my preference is)

"I'm new to online poker and just wanted to no. Thanks."

Which is it? You're 'new'..... 'not new'?

Read this thread over again just now & if you're goal is to recreationally play some cheaper SNG's, DoNs, etc. at night, I don't think Titan would be the way to go. From my experience the SNG lobby is pretty dead (wait times for a STT/SNG to fill up & I don't think I've ever even seen a MTT/SNG running ever on there... although I could be wrong).
It's decent for low buyin MTT, $10-$30. Not sure about 'cash tables'. SNG's though,...crap imo. I've played only a handful but there was always a wait just for a $5 or $10 table to open up.
