Thoughts on moving to supposedly softer sites

I have been grinding on the old Stars for years now and played a bit of everything but for the last 6-8 months (not massive volume) been grinding my $50 into almost $300 now. Anyway I do a bit of sports betting on Sky and decided to try their poker software (software is poor and no HUD) but the players are pretty bad I've never seen so much limping pre-flop since 2008.

Lots of the old I'll be trappy and just check my BB with 5 limpers holding AA's and then go monkey nuts on tilt when their cracked . Hardly any bluffing at all and pretty much fit or fold poker. Compared to pokerstars which I'm finding a real reg fest grind and this 5nl.

So I was looking at some of the sites I could potentially use a HUD and are supposedly similar to Sky the above site so thinking of taking my whole bankroll and sticking it on one of these sports betting site(euro one) and going for the sign up bonus and rakeback.

Any thoughts welcome.

Ive also thought about this many times and would like an answer. I hear 888 is pretty soft but i don't know if that is true and i also don't know if the HUD would work there.


Would like to here peoples opinions on softer sites as well. I heard i Poker has a good rake-back program and is pretty soft. anyone able to confirm this?

Yeah I was on the same page 888 looked like the one I think its 200% bonus as well, HUD works and I'm on Mac so all good until I realised I'd set up an account about 5 years ago with $20....BOLLOX!!! I might still but a few quid on there if it that soft then might be worth it.

Looked at ipoker but no client for mac so can't have a HUD. In fact I'm pretty limited being on mac and wanting a hud so might end up trying 888 without the bonus.

Bonus/Loyalty program at 888Poker is terrible but tables in micro limits are VERY soft.
They've also got a table maximum of 8 tables (introduced in Nov. 2011).

Agree currently playing at 888 and competition is much softer even in s&g but as the poster above me said loyalty program suck

Cheers everyone for the input I'm not sure bonus hunting is worth the hassle I'd have to sign up to pokerheaven or virginpoker to get a decent deal and be able to use a Hud and not sure either site are worth pursuing.

Probably stick a few $ on 888 and see how I go, there's always poker(regfest)stars to go back too.

Carbon Poker is very soft with a lot of USA donks....however it is a very shady site and the 3 outers and 2 outers are insane since you see it consistently....Carbon also has sports betting aswell...

I myself like the tournements at full tilt poker. And the satellites are also interesting.

If you're winning in micro levels on Stars, I'd be shocked if you don't win with at least 3x higher winrate on 888Poker (in the micros). There is that much of a difference imo.

i hear alot off news about poker stars ..did they open up to us cash players....

i believe partypoker is the place. but u have to play higher than nl10. microlimits are packed with eastern european TAG's
