Ok,,,888 poker gives me that bonus $1 and a couple tickets for joining the website,,,fair enough,,,i play 9 play n go`s for 10 cents each,,,won a few,,got my bank up to $1.50 and i guess my 24 hr period for spending my $1 ran out,,,so they took a $1 from my account and left 50 cts,,,,which i think is a bit unfair because i spent 90 cts to play those sit n go`s,,,what u think?

Contact their support and ask them why, you will get the correct answer that way instead of a lot of speculation.

The first place to ask any question like this is at the relevant poker site's Customer support.

Or you can ask in this thread. ---->> https://www.cardschat.com/forum/poker-rooms-10/888-poker-official-support-thread-252119/

I was just looking at joining this site. It said 88$ free. However when it asked me for my social security number and what not I had to opt out. Never has any poker site required my ssn.

Can you even play there in your state? If so it would probably be the first and only legal site you have ever tried to play at - makes total sense they would want your SSN.

You spent THEIR 90 cents.

I think the bigger issue is that you feel like quarreling over $1. If you built your roll by 50% on a their dollar, you can do the same with your 50 cents.

I think I took part in a similar promo once. You may have joined late into the promotional period where the bonus would soon expire. Anything over the bonus would remain in your account.

Yeah, you totally have to read the fine print on these sign up bonuses and reload bonuses. 888 keeps sending me emails about "the big $50" or whatever, if you deposit $10 or $20, they give you a modest instant bonus, then a bunch of bonus that you have to earn by playing cash games and tournaments, and some tournament tickets, and some money to use in their casino games. While the total value of all of that might be $50 or $60 or whatever, you can't get mad at them because you didn't read the structure of the bonus and that you have to earn a good chunk of it.

Is it shady? Sure, maybe a little. It's marketing. They want your money, and when you lose your first deposit you have an incentive to deposit more to earn the rest of your pending bonus. That's how they get you to keep depositing. All online poker rooms do this, or something similar.

No he can't.

New Jersey only has access, if he was in NJ then his OP has merit.

From 888's website.

https://us.888poker.com/usa-poker/

If you’re outside of New Jersey, you can’t play real money poker yet, but you can still download the 888poker software and register your account. The next time you travel to New Jersey, you’ll be ready to start playing real money poker.

Also from 888 website

Enjoy the fun and excitement of online poker from anywhere in New Jersey. If you’re over 21 and currently in New Jersey you can play online poker for real money with 888poker.

Yes , we all enjoy it . When they gave me the tickets I enjoyed very much , I don't remember if they gave me 1$ and took it back and I don't care . It's not sth the 1$ they took back , sb can play THE CC FREEROLL or snap freeroll 2 times a day or the 888poker promotions freeroll (or deposit 10$ ,not too much ), then play some step 1 or 2 tournaments and get some 1$ tickets , more money , easy way .
Sb a little good at sngs and tournaments can play these $1 or 0.10$ tickets and then earn big more .
More and more winnings for the bigger fish

So, 888poker we love you :deal:

Oh comooon, I know we love freerolls and spend and hours to win 0.05 cents.
But complaining about 1$, which you got for free and failed to use in time?
You didnt use whole 1$, you played 9 tournamets, and even not with money, with free tickets instead.

So there is only one aswer. Please stop complaining about free money, especially if its just 1$.

I think he has a legit gripe. If they took back a free tourney ticket (for $1) and in the process reduced his hard earned freeroll by $1 because that was the value of the ticket thats kinda BS.

The ticket should just expire, it shouldn't return to them its cash value from your account if there is any. Or am I misunderstanding?

I think that they should have look at how many sit & go's played and took 10 cents from you for not spending the full dollar. But in that case they would be losing out on the money they gave to those players that don't win any sit & go's . :(

Not supposed to make this kind of action without your autorisation. Maybe you are open more then one account over the yaer and maybe not. Maybe you are playing against rules. Or something like that. Just send a message to the support and it will be explain you the substract money. GL with that. BTW in pokerstar I make a tournement with 100$ spin and go. And the shut down the site for maintenance so after I send my log files they make a deposit directly to my account.
