Have you seen any suspicious behavior on pokerstars?
I was playing some 9man S&Gs yesterday and I've noticed that I keep on bumping on the same players. I also noticed that these player only fold or shove, rarely did they call or raise. When I clicked the "Find player" option it showed me thhese players (there were 2 of them) are playing like 30 tables at the same time! 30 SnGs! Is this rly possible and how good you must be to play 30 tables at the same time? On 1.5$ stake?

I play maximum 5 tables, sng or mtt.30 tables is not poker, you don't have
the time for any play. You play just like machine.

I can do 12 SNG's or MTTs at any giving time but 30 now that is out of my realm of understanding/comprehension.

Those players you seen, aren't bots they're just massive muti-tabling SNG's (Nothing wrong with that if your that good to do it)

I do know people make bots, but when there was a big crackdown on bots on FT a couple years ago, when I went to the bot site, they actually warned their members not to use them at PS as PS has no tolerance for them.

If you think it odd, you should report it to support. Can't do any harm.

If they turn out to be skin-bags, no problem, If tin-bags, you've helped.

Sounds like just playing a push or fold strategy which would be odd for a regulary sng, standard for hypers (you didn't mention so I assume the standard or turbo with 1500 chips). Certainly can't imagine 30 myself, have run somewhere between 16-20 once but my laptop was not a big fan of me for that little while, believe I broke even on that fiasco (had a couple of beats knocking me out of a few early so was like a come back lol).

I could see with time being able to run 30, i mean you just stack them and respond to action quick quick quick, play a tag and should have at least a small ROI which is where the high volume is key, a small say 2% ROI over 30 games is as good as 20% over 3 games but the bonus is the extra points your earning.
Math (excluding rake for ease of calc because well I don't know the exact amounts of hand, and assuming 1 point/game)
30 x 1.5 = 45 @ 2% = 0.90 Profit - 30 Points
3 x 1.5 = 4.5 @ 20% = 0.90 Profit - 3 Points

This is why you multitable SNG's IMO, still want a nice br to be running 30sng's at a time.

That was most likely because of collusion, not bots. I have gotten those a couple times in the past on both Stars and FT.

30 tables is certainly possible for people to do, a number of grinders have played this many or more. When playing this many tables, a "bot-like" push/fold strategy is very often the norm and very profitable at high volumes. Sounds pretty standard to me. Also I think it would actually be pretty stupid to play so many tables on a single bot account because it attracts more scrutiny.

That said, bots can exist at any given time on any poker site. I will say though that Pokerstars goes to greater lengths and has more measures in place to investigate, detect, and shutdown bots than probably any other site. You can probably never avoid the possibility of bots 100%, so you just have to be on the lookout and try to play at sites that take an active stance against them like Stars does. Also, all but the most sophisticated bots are pretty easy for a competent player to exploit and play against anyway.

Stars have the option to - you can block search ... I do not find there is also a search! bots hardly there, but moving on this too frequent Rum! Only here you can find three sets at a table in one hand!

Well you are absolutely right.. but do you think that there is a chance to find 3 different people playing between 25 and 30 tables (all S&G 1.50$ Turbo)
It is so weird! I'll deffinitely write down the names and mail to support to check them out!
If anyone of you guys play those 1.50$ S&G try checking the guys around and see whats going on :D

this i find odd

I have noticed times when In a hand am ahead and right from pre flop the opponent has been instant calling and they couldnt wait to get to the river even tho he was on a 3 outer, pushing the flop with no hesitation when im holding the goods and the draw
and surprise surprise he hits a king..

and sometimes i can fold pre flop in a monster hand cos i know stars are trying to clear me out in this particular hand (its nothing personal)

but thats the sequence then cards will simulate in, everyone will experience this you can learn to know when its your rig fk hand.
and simply fold your hand (which will often be a monster.

its nothing more than a pattern

If everything you stated here were true, than by all means you should be a billionaire from online poker, why you ask? It's quite simple, if you know this hand is your "FK hand", and you fold, than the same would have to apply with the hands you know are your "Cooler hands" in your favour, correct?

30 tables, not impossible.I have watched some WPT series video. And some pros in the game do have exprience playing a lot of tables as the same time on the net.I Though I was suprised at that time.As for the bots you mentioned ,I hope Pokerstars has good measures to handle them.

I saw something similar on stars at the 0.5$ SNG's a while back. A guy was playing around 30 tables at once. I thought it was suspicious and reported him. Stars politely replied to me and told me it was not a bot :)

There are lot of players can play even more than thirty tables concurrently. Especially in the format like 9max sng where you can use quite straighforward, mostly same strategy all the time (like a bot :D). Mass multitabling is not an evidence of cheating. I'm sure games are safe on PokerStars and that they are able to stop any attemp to cheat.

Cool story. Your paranoid conspiracy theory had to earn you a fortune, hadn't it?

I don't know about bots, but multitabling is quite normal I think and I am sure that pokerstars do everything they can to avoid bots on their site :)

Unless the 30 table man has at least 3 monitors set up I don't see how it's possible. I guess one way to get a better idea is to check his action time. If he acts as fast as most players do on a few tables when he's on 30 then I would definitely be suspicious.

Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Are you guys telling me that BOTS actually exist?

Like automated machines that make decisions for the player while he's not even at the pc?

Any link to any site with further info on this? this is pretty weird stuff .(and unheard of in my book)

I know that PokerStars has many advanced techniques to find bots, but I guess they can be out-smarted for some time so it can never be 100% bot free.
Who knows? If you ask/tell PS they will never tell you anyway.
