Anyone know of a way to sell / discount US Full Tilt account balances? Surely there is a way to find someone to gamble on getting paid by the US Government?

There hasn't been much discussion about this on other forums I frequent. Surely there are ways to do this, but you need rock solid references and be willing to sign documentation to guarantee funds to the buyer. I have actually seen written up documents composed by lawyers for this reason. Those were for rather large transactions though.

Interesting, I would love to sell my FTP off at a decent rate, but I'm sure the market rate is pretty low right now.

FTP does not allow US players with balances to do anything with those balances. We can not do P2P xfers.

I no longer have a balance showing on FTP. Do you? I do have FTP's, but at this point even those are essentially useless to us in the US.

I scanned my past transactions, which was entertaining. But there should be an entry in that past transactions ledger which shows some transfer to the DOJ of my funds.

If nothing else, you should give the claims administrator your email so you can be notified how many more years it will take to get your money directly.

Full Tilt Poker Claims Administration

Apparently it is not going to be anytime soon...

After Two Years, Full Tilt Remittance Still Not Coming Anytime Soon

Earlier this week a user on the TwoPlusTwo forum posted an email he had received from a representative of Garden City Group, which he claims that he received in reply to repeated attempts to gain information from the company as to when he, and the other players in this same predicament, might expect to receive their refunds.

That email read, in part:

We are working with the Asset Forfeiture Unit of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York and the Asset Forfeiture and Money Laundering Section of the United States Department of Justice to review the data in the possession of Full Tilt Poker to determine how claims should be calculated. It will still take some time before the claims process begins. Please continue to check the settlement administration website (www.FullTiltPokerClaims.com) for important updates.

Other comments made by the same TwoPlusTwo user, who goes by the handle Schlucky1, revealed that a representative for Garden City Group named Lorrie Stall told him that it could take another one or two years before the remittance process is complete and all players have been refunded.

What happens is, once the funds are collected by the seller from the DOJ, they send it over to the buyer. That's all. Not over the poker site. Could be via paypal or bank wire or another poker network that allows US players.

I'd be interested in selling my FTP balance for a new set of kitchen knives and some socks at this point..
