thanks for nothing bovada

So I have played onlne around 10 years . Never have I expierenced being disconnected from a site in 1000s of hours of game play. Today on boovada this happens to me while playing a mtt and s&g. I am in 2nd with 4 left in 9 person s&g and in the middle of the pack in the mtt. I call customer service they say its on my end and nothing they can do. I lose the s&g and 45 minutes later when I can finally log back in over half of my chips are gone in the mtt which I end up losing also. I was playing for a good 3 plus hours before this . Customer service does not care , it is my fault to them. They can go down with the rest of them as far as I am concerned . They help people who don't play , they help people with illegitmate issues yet when a real issue arises they are zero help . Now I need a new site to play on.

I told them they can cancel my account for all I care,.Who in there right mind would make another deposit when they lost the rest of there $ through no fault of there own?Well they sure disabled my account yet would be glad to take me back when I wish to deposit again. Really? That's how you treat paying customers ? Do they sense there time is running out? Or am I thinking irrationally?

I've been getting disconnected like it is my job lately. I played there for a couple months and never had an issue, but recently it is pretty spotty.
Tonight i am actually having some internet issues due to weather, but when i had to call customer service previously, they told me the usual spiel about restarting your modem, clearing your cookies, re-installing the client, etc.

I have comcast, and kind of hard to say for sure whether it is them or bovada that is having an issue. they usually both claim all is fine.

I play there several of hours every nite. Never been totally disconnected like LOCK. There are some bumps along the way but stalls never more than 5 secs.
I dont like that they dont have synchronized breaks or no name runners but Bovada has been very good to me.

Stop playing on line poker and stop blaming the poker sites,I don't care where you play,stars , tilt, merge,Party...You will get disconnected, I repeat you WILL get disconnected.It's most likely your internet connection and not the fault of the poker site.

Good luck finding a site that you never get disconnected from. It can happen at any of them - sometimes it is on your end and sometimes it is not. It is frustrating but don't blame Bovada.

PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS CAREFULLY:

Customer service is the best at Bovada, and they are 100% right, it is your fault. What are they supposed to do, believe every guy who claims to lost connection and just refund their money out of their own paychecks?

I had a crappy little laptop, but always comcast cable internet so I knew that was good. I used to freeze up all the time, and I gamble a lot, probably 20-30k a month. I lost SAG's, MTT's, not know where i finished at a FT until the next morning when I could log back in, it was frustrating. Stars and Tilt were better, but Bovada was always terrible.

I bought a new computer a couple months back, and I may play 5 or 6 tables at once and I have never disconnected once. Main point to this story, if you want to play online, invest in a good gaming computer, and you will see a world of difference.

Yes if they had better servers and things like that you would be fine with lower ram, but what they have should work if you update your hard ware.

It does happen on every site at some time or another, I have had that issue with Carbon, majority of the time it is fine, but throughout the past couple years there have been probably 3 episodes where I had connections problems and they continued for hours. I know its my end because no one else in the games were having the same problem.

Outside of that I have to agree that Bovada has the best customer service over all. I am sorry your experience was not as good with them.

What did you really expect them to do? It was probably on account of whether. Bovada is one the best sites in the poker world, bar none!!!!!!! And I stand by them 100%.

lock always disconnects me, never had any problem with bovada or any other sites for that matter.

It probably is on your end, bovada customer serivce is usally unbeatable. It happens every now and then.
How long have you been using bovada?

Really how is this their fault, if the others where still playing, then it's not on Bovada's end, but on your end! Did you ever look to see if your modem was still online, or even try to run a speed test when the disconnect took place??
You don't say if you have others living with you or not, and if you're using Wifi you may want to look and find out who else is on it, if you don't have a firewall in place.

Whoever said there customer service is the best idk about that....there customer service is downright shitty at times! they told me a specific visa card to buy to deposit on there a while back...I immediately get the card, it doesn't work.....and they say not there fault and give me a run around. after there guy had told me an hour earlier what to buy.

Well after reading my local paper today I found out what the problem was. Twc in Chicago had a problem which affected all Wisconsin users. So yea that makes it my fault I suppose . Something I have no control over. So I should call TWC and say hey I was gambling online at the time your server went down what can you do for me ? Lol I don't think so . I'm fine with it being my problem I am not fine with how they treat there paying customers, however pissed off they are at the time .

I've played bovada the last 7 months or so . This has just left a crummy taste in my mouth . I was up and down all day and it just so happens at the time of disconnect I am on my last 2 tourneys .Even though it wasn't there fault I still feel robbed. As I think any normal person would.

One time I called Comcast and bitched them out because I got disconnected while playing 4 36$ sit-and-gos. I told them they cost me 150$, and they gave me free HBO for 3 months.

Once I lost the power when I played on everest SnG 6-max double-up $50 buy-in and I was chip leader but I won even whole town lost the power. :-D

However, was the Bovada system was blocked?

My internet was down period . All southeast Wisconsin who uses TWC for internet was lost for about an hour. Have never seen that before during no storms. I would think I am not the only person around here who was playing at that time but I just may well have been I suppose. On an completely unrelated note. Still waiting for admin for help but why can I not log into here via computer? Have not been able to since I signed up,site just does not load period.

well glad you figured out what was going on kinda makes you look silly though ranting about bovada and them losing a customer and then it turns out the issue actually wasn't on their end

If it makes me look silly then I guess I look silly. They still have lost a customer for the time being by the way they handled the issue. The issue was no fault of my own.If a malfunction happens while playing casino then it voids all plays. Remember the bs Seattle greenbay game? I could go on but I will let it die out. Just one less guy for you fish to call an all in to with your 1 out draws

Disconnect happens, it happened in a bounty tourney last night on intertops. It happens. As far as Bovada goes, they are ok. Never really had any long period of disconnect from there.

I know one thing ,when i had to re run bovada program they gave me back 7 months ago, which i couldnt figure out why the last wasnt working, glad it stopped though because new program i ran ive won 7 months in a row ,cashing out each month.Still that seems weird to me ,but am winning every month now.

I would have tried calling my isp yet I technically shouldn't be playing to begin with. Hence why I choose not to . Lag is one thing as that's what they suspected .Telling me to clean my computer shut it off from time to time yada yada.As if they were parenting me on how to keep my computer clean. It had nothing to do with any of that. Everyone in my state who uses TWC lost internet for an hour. First time I have seen such a thing. I just have to accept the loss and move on since they could care less.They are to busy worrying about how to lure non depositing customers back with free $ and free tix then to help out there depositing ones. That is what grinds my gears .

Well 3.7 million is worth my time to come back .lol. All kidding aside situation resolved and you may continue to take me out with your all in 1 out gutshots . I will be #8 by the way . Or was it #2?

Bovada is not that good of a site.
there dep. options and min. dep. limit is no good.
nether is the look and feel.
totally sucks.
I wont waist any more of my time playing there.
