Is it possible to sync the player notes between 2 computers for full tilt? I use my desktop mostly but also spend a lot of time on the laptop chillin on the couch. Whats the best way to combine the player notes and where do i find the file?

I haven't done this but I'm going to try it. First go here.....C:\Program Files (x86)\full tilt poker\divebich.xml Look for your own ID/screenname of course, and for the XML file. Also, you might have Full Tilt in Program Files, not (x86) if you don't have 64-bit Windows 7.

Here is what the file should look like (I've remove a few names for the sake of brevity). Note that my 1st listing is simply someone I muted, so all those are included here. Save as (make sure it's not a straight save - you save AS) a new file, making sure you rename it, and preferably in another folder. I named mine divebich222 and saved it in Pictures/poker/FT. Make sure the new file is saved as an XML, but it should do it by default. and send it as an email attachment. Open the email with attachment on your 2nd computer, from where it says NOTE player ID to the end of the last player note. and paste the names in to the XML document in your Full Tilt in Program Files.

</PLAYERDATA>

If you have no internet on the old computer, you can always just write the file to a CD or DVD (I might use a file with RW (rewrite) if you don't want to waste it for 1 file.

******Note that the file says "- <!-- Do not edit this file --> - I'd hate for anyone to lose info they already have because of bad advice. I'm going to try this in the next hour or two, since I have so few notes on the new laptop, and not afraid of losing them. But I feel it should work. I'd have to find some of these people at the tables to see it the transfer was successful. I'll post the results later.

One more note, I'd be careful that there are no duplicates, as this might cause an error, IDK.

********EDITED TO ADD: The above is NOT what the file looks like. The copy and paste of an XML file here, does not work perfectly. Lemme see is I can save it as something else and repost it. But you get my drift.

Okay, since you can't post an XML here, I took a screen shot, pasted it in PAINT, and saved it as a JPEG. This should be what it looks like....

Hey DB, have you (or anyone else) edited files such as merging info from separate PCs into each others files and have it work? I am assuming a copy and paste of everything between -<NOTES> and </NOTES> would work. Any comments?

To be honest, I never got around to doing it. But there is no reason it should not work. Now that I've experimented with their files, I see how it all works. Their client software is looking for a particular file name to implement what you see in the client. My experiment was with the FT pro you see at the in the main lobby, who I exchanged for Isaac Haxton from poker stars. It worked. I am fairly certain it all works the same way for all changes. File name within the FT folder is key. You can swap out whatever they pull for the image you want, just rename it to what they pull.
