The CC freerolls have made me realize how good FT is for building a bankroll with no money, besides the wonderfull CC freerolls.

1 - The Ferguson . top 100 get a buck

2 - Multiple cash, tourney dollar and sat. freerolls where you can exchange tourney dollars for regular ones at a good rate

3 - playchip buyin $40 freeroll. 500k playchip buyin makes it a low field with usually less than 100. the playchip games are more serious and the limits are higher, which has more opportunity for buikding a bigger stack and developing your game with no risk.

4 - $ 1.25 90 player SNG with 3000 chips and 10 minute blinds. Top 18 pay out. I find this along with the Ferguson challenge the best way to get started after you make your first cash. The cash games are too high to start.

I wish the other sites would pickup on this. Thanks Cards Chat for the freerolls!

I have the hardest time getting into the Freerolls on Full Tilt. Is there some special technique. They just fill up sooooo quickly!

Yes, you have to be ready to immediately click the 'register' button as soon as it appears. I've seen these fill in 20 seconds or less.

Those run every 3 minutes I believe, so when the third minute comes up on the server click your mouse over and over until the registration button pops up. I can get in 80% of the time.

The only thing that I see wrong with full tilt when building a bankroll with hardly anything is that they have no real micro tables. If they had some micro limit tables it would be without a doubt the best for building a small bankroll altough some might argue that pokerstars has the double or nothing sit and goes that help build a bankroll quickly. So its really a toss up depending on if your a big MTT kinda person or a ring table/ small SnG kinda person.

ive built and lost br on most major sites. full tilt has more freerolls but as aready said no micros. its 1$ minimum for most every game. ive been sitting on 48cents for 3 days now after cashing in 3 diferent freerolls. seriouslywasting hours for pennies.

at least stars offers more micro buyins like 2/4 limit penny table 10c 360 man. but not many freerolls

I have always preferred FullTilt, but then again, I am satisfied playing in freerolls all weekend and only making enough for a sit n go every couple weeks. Just have to have patience. :)

Yesterday was my first time ever to be on Full tilt. Downloaded it yesterday. I wouldnt say I'm swaying towards it but at least having it downloaded is a start. I'll reserve speaking my initial impressions until another time but I can see why some choose fulltilt over other online rooms...somewhat.

I agree. It is 1000x easier to build your bankroll on tilt than on stars or bodog for example. They have more freerolls and games where more players cash. It is even easier to build your role in the cash games. They also offer rakeback, but as a result they are pricey for the FTP Store. I don't like that you have to send your ID to cashout via check, but for a large enough check i could get over it.:D

The Ferguson is held on FT every night at 1:30am EST. It's a $1 buy-in, no rake. If I recall, the payouts are for the top ~15%.

Mostly nlhe games, but they also mix it up with razz and some other games on varying nights, but the time never changes.

I'm not sure if it's 1000x easier to build a bankroll on FullTilt than stars. Stars offers more micro opportunities such as .01/.02 cash game, .10 cent turbo tourneys, 1$ 45-man SNG's, and tons of other 1$ games and tourneys. I started on Stars with 1.50 from a freeroll and have built it up quite a bit! Granted, FullTilt does offer more freerolls, but the competition is stiff and as others have said its almost impossible to register for them. Also stars offers a 20% payout structure on a lot of their MTT's so 1:5 are cashing. This is not a commercial for pokerstars, i'm just saying the opportunities are there also.

FT is by far the best poker site out there gotta love the freerolls if you can handle waiting for the players who go all in the first couple of hands.

the rake at the lowest cash tables is 10%!!!!!

bodog has the lowest rake at their 5/10 cent tables - and max at 10 cents!-- and a 500 dollar freeroll twice a day
pokerstars has 1/2 cent tables---10 cent tournies and 20%payout mtts
ub has 1/2 cent tables
