One of my instant echecks bounced on FTP so they suspended my account, so then I put in enough money through visa to cover that and more..

It says 24/7 support on the site, but its been over 8 hours now sense I've emailed them about the issue and I still have not gotten a response..

Is this typical? When should I expect a response from this "24/7 support" -- which seems to me likes its just "reply within 24 hours support" which is not the same as true 24/7 support.

I love FTP, but it seems to me all the other sites have way better support than them..

8 hours is not very long for them. 24/7 does not mean you get instant responses.

(Moving this to poker rooms)

24/7 support doesn't mean they are sitting around waiting for you to write them an e-mail. It also doesn't mean how fast they will reply. It means that they have people working every hour of the day and every day of the week and working issues. And yes, sometimes they can be a bit slow to reply; just depends. Another member just posted the other day about them replying in like 20-30 minutes.

And no, their support is not that bad; you're just tilted on them right now. They are easily in a very small group of sites that are second only to pokerstars supports which crushes everyone.

Maybe FT Support would be able to reply back to members quicker on things if they weren't overloaded with people bouncing checks. ;) :p

I bet the very worst issue is all of the impatient members who send multiple emails on the same topic.

How do you bounce an echeck in the first place?

It is Friday and normally call it a day early, then theyre off on the weekend. So you might have to wait till Monday to hear back from them. Honestly, I'm surprised you deposited into your account seeing how your suspended they normally block everything.

umm i think sometimes it does take longer than usual as i have e mailed them b4 and it has taken hours and hours but sometimes it get a responce in like 15/20 mins so all in all it isnt that bad of a supportsystem for ftp as it is a very big site and they have a lot of issues and people to respond 2 :):)

Its a lie then that they post 24/7 support then if they are "off on the weekend".

And to the poster above, INSTANT echecks -- they give you the money instantly but don't withdraw out of your account until a week or so later, the day they decided to try and withdraw is a day I happen to not have enough to cover what I withdrew.

i was wondering this too, when i deposited on stars i used echeck..it takes the money out of your bank account.

so i guess in order to bounce an echeck..you would have to have say $200 in your bank account, and than when you go to deposit on the site, you tell them you want to deposit $300...im guessing here i honestly dont know

Yeah, you can tell them any number sense they don't even know until they process the echeck which isn't until the week after.

Its useful to use if you don't have money at that time, but just make sure you don't forget about it! :(

Then you sir are part of the fortunate few. When OP states that Fulltilt support seems slower than most others I'd have to agree. PattyR.. just curious... how many sites do you have direct experience with when it comes to dealing with support? I've dealt with many, about alot of different issues. I'd have to rank Fulltilt's support as the worst, mostly due to how f'n slow they can be (not just one occassion....basing this on a large sample size, lol).
I've had very good experiences when dealing with Fulltilt support (ie. have gone out of their way for me on a bunch of occassions and have been extremely helpful) but the wait times can be very long at times.

personally i've dealt with 3 support systems (FTP, UB, and Pstars)

id rank Pstars at the top...but i have not had any problems with FTP support ..sorry if you disagree

The following week was my payday, but I overwithdrew in this account.

No wonder they froze you. It's a good way to be PNG at any establishment, including your own bank. Be grateful they are not likely to press criminal charges.

And I dunno why you thinks processing takes a week. It's electronic -- should be, at most, next business day for the bank withdrawal to appear in your bank records. Might take longer for a merchant (FT) to be notified you cheated them.

Saw another thread on this issue on another site. I guess you just have to be patient and they'll get to you eventually. I'm sure that's not what you want to hear tho. Looks like it takes them several days (5-7) to resolve these issues of bounced echeck deposits as they have a huge volume of them. If you covered the deposit your account should be restored then.

I wouldn't be surprised if you have to wait for any deposits to fully clear from now on. It'd be interesting to know if they let you play with "pending" money again.

I agree with this...I doubt they will let you play with anything until it clears your bank & theirs. I 've never had any trouble with getting FT support to return my e-mails...they respond every time, even weekends!
GL...:)

echeck is goofy. Yes, you would think that they would take it out instantly, but they don't always. I deposited $25 on stars for some bonus thingy and 2/3 months later I get a nice email that they "forgot" to take it out of my bank account. They asked me to redeposit or I could have it removed form my PS account. Yea-doesn't make any sense.

To OP-they are probably waiting to make sure the visa is good and there are no charge backs.
