What do you mean is it worth it?... If your playing that much poker, such that you can actually consider becoming a Supernova...you must be really doing well and winning a lot... and if thats the case ... then you wouldnt even be asking this stupid question.

Are you for real?!! Becoming Supernova has feck all to do with winning, and obviously it's not a stupid question coz you don't really know what your talking about.

Can anybody help with information on Supernova on stars.

Stars doesn't offer conventional rakeback like some other sites, so it gives back to it's players in the form of the VIP programme. Basically everytime you play a sng, mtt or play a cash hand you earn VPP/FPP's. If you play a lot then the more you earn the higher you go up the VIP programme. The higher up the VIP levels, the faster you will earn FPP's.

So if your become supernova you will earn FPP's at 3.5 times as opposed to Platinum level which is at a rate of 2.5x.

Now when you earn 100k VPP's in a year then you will become Supernova. You can use all your FPP's accrued for cash bonuses or whatever you like from the VIP store. Cash bonuses are the best if your at Supernova, because again, you get a better rate for your FPP's. Also you get Concierge privileges which basically allows you to buy what the heck you like, send in the receipt to Stars and if there's enough FPP's in your account they will reimburse you account with the equivalent $$$.

Then after you reach Supernova, then you can go for the milestone bonuses, so if you hit another 100k VPP's in the year then your entitled to a net $1200. Get to 300k VPP's and you get $2200, 400k gets you $3200 and so on.

FWIW I got the 200k milestone bonus last year. I should reach that again next week or so, then I'll see if I can get the 300k one before the years out.

For every 100k VPP's you earn in a year, that worth approx $5600 in cash bonus. Then add on your milestone bonus and it really starts building up.

For full details chk this out:

Then if your feeling really sexy, you can go for Supernova Elite, which is worth approx $120k in cash/bonuses and tournament entries :)

Go for the gold buddy!

The higher the status you know the better it is the more freerolls and added events... if you plan to stay there make it awhile to get to that status.

My 2 Cents,
Moe.

I just read an article the other day where a supernova elite player used FPP's to buy a Porsche.

The information i'am asking, is not for me. Its for a friend of mine, it will be a long long long time before i reach nova, if ever:)

The friend in question has about 16k vpps to make nova, but doesn't no if its worth it, as each milstone he has passed doesn't seem worthwhile.

Now after reading Jagsti's response it seems very worthwhile so i will pass the information on, and i'am sure he will push for nova.

So thank you very much Jagsti for the quality reply.

Simply the best place to find out this info. It tells you everything about the system. How much it is worth and how best to spend your FPP's.
