So looking for feedback discussion on one versus the other.

Basically from looking at it they are both identical structures, only difference I see is the warm-up is essentially 1/3 the size. I'm willing to guess the warmup is a much stiffer competition with less fishes than the million.

Curious if anyone has played the warm-up as i know a few have played in the million, I played it once in the 8th anniversary but never on a regular weekend.

Smaller field of the warm-up would mean less variance to increase a chance of a deeper run if I play my cards right. Although i have a feeling if the field is going to be much tougher that it might be better to shot the million rather than the warm-up.

Basically I have a step ticket that will allow me to play a 215$ tourney, and just sizing up the ones available as the million was the first I thought about.

Would be happier if I could take the $$ into my account tbh but don't work like that and doubt I'd get much interest in trying to sell out 50% of it to offset some but who knows its crossed my mind to try.

Anyhow any and all feedback welcome, if there would be better options of a tourny to play on stars for it also be great to know.

Thanks all, was going to put this in the tourny section but more related specifically to pstars room thus its here.

Million obviously has more fish but from what I have read around some forums the warm up is comparable and not far behind the milly in terms of skill level / fish. Take it fwiw obviously but I would rather play the milly personally.

Just curious, why didn't you use the step4 ticket to play the 8th anniversary ?

If you have a ticket, use it for the Sunday Million or save it for a SCOOP/WCOOP $215 event.

The warmup is tougher than the million just due to the fact the amount of advertising the million gets and the huge amounts of fish it attracts for that potential big pay day. You will have the same regs playing the warmup who will play the million, but you just have more fish in the mix during the million.

Of course you then have a bigger field to get through and variance is higher in the million but chances are you will always have a table in the million with more fish in than the warmup.

The warm up has a Better structure as it is a smaller field, iv played it once or twice and it has a soft enough field since its still a Sunday major, late stage field is probably tougher than milly tho, which one better fits your schedule?

If I'm not wrong BluffMe won a ticket in the CC freeroll.
To topic, if you feel comfortable in bigger fields, with obv more fish, I would choose Sunday Million, or as Ram suggested a WCOOP/SCOOP event, in which the fields I believe are even bigger.

Still, for all these tournaments a lot of satties are running, so there will be fish anyway, but I think the number of good players compared to the number of entrants will be highest in the WarmUp.

Another thing to keep in mind however is the starting time of the tournaments.
The WarmUp plays earlier on the day, so it might better fit in your schedule or daily programm.

Yeah don't you remember me and raj won a ticket from cc, pretty sure you was on the rail of the cc game lol.

Thanks for the feedback again, I figured pretty much the same that basically the big diff is the million has an overall softer field with all the hype it gets.

atm whem i'm not at work im on the computer playing poker or something related so being a sunday fitting the schedule is never the problem lol

haha thanks for remembering that i won a milly ticket through cc :D. Yeah I don't mind large fields and will be getting some practice with large fishy fields now that the micromillions are upon us. Lost a flip (77 vs AQ) in event 5 last night just 100 ppl off the bubble, in like 2100ish out of almost 15k field and it paid 2025 grr lol.

@all: many thanks on taking time to respond to my inquiry, much appreciated as always. On a positive and learning note I just figured out how to do a multi quote without opening all in new tabs with the quote button and copying and pasting to get them all in a single reply. Am sure I tried the button once and didn't seem to work lol.

Just posted an update in relation to this inquiry in another thread of the same nature I posted over in tourney poker forum figured would do the same in here to let all know where I decided to look to use my ticket:

Goind to play the 215 2 milly gtd on sunday i be thinking, its like event08 of the wcoop i believe. hopefully she runs well, or god like would be better to be honest and i can get me a deep run for a perdy cash or tid for the lot and then take a week off from work to just sleep lol.

Hec, not that I condone shooting for a mincash but even a mincash would be nice but thinking positive that I'll get at least that and much more :D
