Who's playing guys? I managed to win a $1 4max hyper satellite yesterday and have won a seat into this tournament that I SO badly wanted to play in. Anyone got any advice for making a deep run in this? I'd love to turn my $T215 into a nice fat pay out.

About that

I am continously talking with all of my friends about this . We are kind of excited .
Any advice on the tournament?
How to hit the bubble on this big tournament?
And how about some details about the prize, like how many winners can be (last place-$12345)? :D

Play as tight as you can with the amount of blinds I came 7th once but got knacked with my QQ against K6 was so annoyed lol.

Thanks guys, I usually play the Storm every weekend but I'm predominately a cash game grinder. I never seem to reach the Final Table probably due to the fact I have only played about 100 MTT's in my entire life. Hopefully I can get a rail if I run deep in the tournament :)

Has anyone heard anything, or know the likelihood or timeliness that Stars might begin allowing US players again? Is it simply too far away? Too unlikely?

I wouldn't advise to play $215 tournaments if your usual level is much lower. You will be crushed up in 99% with no money by $215 regs. If there is possibility to change ticket to T$215 or sell it, I would do this and play at customary meadow farther.

How big is the $215 compared to your roll? If it's more than a third then maybe cash it, otherwise just make sure you run good and win

Congrats on winning the satellite, you could have 19 Sunday storm buy-ins with those tournaments dollar, so thats something to consider, but if you went deep in the 5 mill game you got some life changing money, good luck with your decision and tournament(s).

wish you good luck and congrats on the ticket.
I would suggest to open up your game and play more aggressively, because most of the people will play tight and you can stil their blinds and pots.

It is a good chance to play loose exactly on highstakes tournament! Mostly people are greedy on the beginning stage of the game.

Some very good advice in here thank you guys. My roll was $380 but I had a disgusting weekend and lost 10 buy ins. It's sitting around 323 at the moment so it is very tempting indeed to change it into cash.

At the moment I'm still inclined the play the tournament, I honestly think I can hold my own + a little bit of +ev and I could at least min cash. Plus it's the christmas season so why not give it a shot. However if I continue on a disgusting downswing at cash games it might put me off playing so may be looking to cash it in for $$$ so thank you for the offers.

I'll keep you all updated. Thank you again for the advice.

I would suggest to open up your game and play more aggressively, because most of the people will play tight and you can stil their blinds and pots.

It depends on the table you're on (obviously) but generally speaking there's a large number of bad/loose players in the SunMill (with tons of them getting in on satties). If you haven't played in it before I'm sure you will be surprised by how bad the play is, especially in the early levels.

I would say take a shot at it but obviously would be better if you had a bunch more tournament experience.
