Hey all,
I just Satty'd into the 1.5 mil and wondering if I should play and unregister to play in some of the smaller tournys throughout the week?
Any body have any advice or ideas about this? I'm not even sure how the Sunday 1.5 plays, good, bad, tight or what? Any thoughts quickly would be helpful!

I would say unregister, and play in smaller Mtts and work up your BR this way, as for play in the Sunday Mill it-self I would say your get your tight players, good players, and alot of Bad players, hope that helps you out

Un-register. Although the big money really is very tempting, dont just put all your money on one tournament, play several smaller buy-in MTT and build your BR. But really if you want to play it, play it. It is a great experince to play in it and after all you did play the sattelite so your objective was to play in the Sunday Million. Up to you at the end of the day.

Thanks, I think I am going to unregister for this and play some of the smaller MTT"s. The BIG money is temping but I can make enough in the smaller tourney (hopefully) to but into this directly later. My BR is already fine to play in this but I still think I'm going to wait.
Thanks for your advice!

Hahahaha, I'm not being a panz. The money isn't what scares me I just don't know if I want to play a tourney that big today especially since I'm not use to playing in tournys with such a large field. I may actually play in it next week instead, we'll see.

If your BR is big enough play it....If not play some small MTT´s.

TRUE! But for $215 I can take 4 or 5 shots at $7-10K. I know it's not $150K+ but I think for my play it's definitely +EV for me to take multiple shots in smaller tournaments. But I still haven't written off playing in the 1.5mil next week. Only time will tell I suppose.

There are also no satellites. That's very bad because all the players had the $215 to register.

I would say to unregister it. Depends really on what your normal level is, if you are used to playing low the money might be a bit scary.

I know for me, in my first over $200 tournament I didn't play my optimal game being a bit scared of the money. I still had to play a couple more before I got used to the idea and was perfectly comfortable playing them.

IMHO, I would say withdraw. These big tourneys have some real tough players, unless a couple hundred $ is nothing to you of course, if so go for it and Good Luck

If I understood these posts correctly, If I sat into a big tournament, I can withdraw and use the money for other tournaments??? Is this correct? I am such a newbie....I didn't know that. Wish I had...could of played a lot of small touneys with mt sat win if I had known. I KNEW I was at a disadvantage in the big tournament.

I'd go with unregister, then play several more sats till you get another ticket. Hopefully you will come out ahead, and be able to consider the big game as a freeroll.

That notion of scared money is bigger than any of us realize. So my idea would eliminate that notion.

Yes Annie, you can (at most sites) un register and get T$ (tourney bucks). They spend just like real money when you want to get into a different tourney. You CAN NOT however sit down at a ring game with T$'s.
