thanks

thanks for posting this sammy, didnt have time myself to get the screenshot.

this was a tough tourney in general not because they players were good trust me they wernt. I called one guy down on bottom pair to take the pot. It was rough because at 12 people left I was like number 11 and I stayed on the final table bubble for like a hour in last place. I saw another final table and thought great another final table bust.

we got to final table and I was last in chips with like 13k with the blind 600/1200 and 1st hand I belive I found something like AK and took blinds and antes which were huge for me at that point. All the stacks were around 40k but one guy had 80k and then next hand I woke up with QQ and pushed all in again this time getting called by the chipleader holding JT.....great call.

J on flop
T on turn (great)
Q on river

after that I just played strong position poker and took advantage of players weakness's. There was only one other guy at table I thought was any good but he blew up towards the end. There was one major suckout I had when I pushed the big blind with AT and he showed AK and I hit ten on flop and on river. I think it was still the correct play and even if I lost that I would not of been out.

I saw alot of questionable play like calling all ins with real small pairs and stuff. Like I said in railing thread when we got heads up and I saw how passive guy was and he wouldnt raise preflop unless it was all in I knew i needed to change how I normally play HU. Usually I always raise buttons but I gave him alot of walks in order to let him know I wanst playing the all in BS. He had one suckout on me and likewise I had one on him but once I chipped away at him enough and got him to 50k I felt very very confidnent I would win it. I even told sammy on IM that Its mine there is no way.

I enjoyed talking on IM with people and tell them what I had and why I was playing like I did. The shoves I made seemed like perfect timed shoves and was able to dominate the table pretty much in later stages. Im most proud though of my shortstack play and how I never gave up regardless of the chips I had. I did make some shoves when I knew the people were weak like when I shoved on the small blind with Q8 after he mini raised. I even told Sammy while I was at final table why I was shoving and why he couldnt call, basicly my thought process seemed to be right on.

ok

this win had nothing to do with money at all!! honestly I could care less...well no money is always nice but its more of a moral booster then anything. My run latley has been horrible so honestly I wouldnt of been happy with anything less then 1st. This was about the confidence and the win more then the money.

Way late with this, but congrats. Watched part of the final table & from what I could see you were thinking & playing very well. Especially liked your call 3 handed with the A/10, you obviously had a good read on grapple, I think it was.
