I've played 7 different poker sites in the years of playing and this site is by far the worst.

1.Read the fine print very carefully!!!!!!!! Because we always read all the legal stuff right? Pain in the @$$ to get your money out and expensive.

2. worst customer service ever.

3. heard and experienced myself getting kicked of line, lagging, yata yata yata It happens every once in a blue moon on the other sites I've played but this site seemed to constantly do it.

Example I was in 5th place with 15 to 16 players left it completely shut down on me after 10min of trying to get back online 1/3 of my stack was gone. played 2 hands then kicked again. when I got back online I was in such a panic that I had to play hand I'd normally not play and lost out in like 12th. I contacted them ( now keep in mind this was only like a $5.50 buy in turny but 5th place was like $172 and first was like $500-$600. I asked for at least 5th place money because that's when their servers failed me. was not experiencing any other internet problems at the time. Them--- My fault for going out. Give me at least my $5.50 back then. Them nope read or policies.
Well now I just want my money back off the site. $129 out of the $300 I put in. Them -- Nope read our policies about rake and having to play all of your $300.

All in all STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS SITE AS POSSIBLE. BetOnline is Garbage.

Wow but yes I've seen these nonsence players even on freerolls make drastic calls and winning most of the time with hands such as 47 off or 82off and stuff like that. I have never deposit but did manage to win a freeroll and was able to play actual money tournaments.

Im just wondering how cards chat is rating this site because it has a good rating here.

There's a lot of issues I have with Betonline. The biggest is how in cash games, they HAVE to have the BJ thing pop up next to it. It's annoying and distracting from the actual poker. The poor customer service I've heard a ton too.

I just hate how Betonline has 10 person table instead of 9 and there are no antes in tournaments. I mean could they no program antes or something?? It's obvious that there more concerned with sports betting than they are with poker.

I also got into a trouble in his time with the poker room balpoker. Factitiously was 400 euros, and bring not given .Even then could not go to the poker room.They threw me out of there. Before signing up for a poker room, first read reviews about it on the Internet.

BOL - Disconnects have been extremely frequent and damaging to by bankroll recently. Two examples:

Pocket AA - I limp in expecting lagtards at the table to raise - they don't - flop shows A - I flopped a set AAA- lagtards go all in - I'm pushing All In - nothing - when I bet back I won only my blind money back.

Different game I pocket AJs - limp in again - flop comes K, 10, 9 same suite - disconnected again - I couldn't play my A high flush - I again won my blind cash back.

Many more disconnects than that but you can see why those two stick with me. Also - at the same time - I was playing other sites with no problems - so it was strictly a BOL problem. BOL's freeroll dealer is BSOL. It seems to me BOL sets up the table for maximum rebuys before first break. Way too many long shots winning. After first break the dealer seems a little more real. All in all - BOL to me used to be fun - but now with the disconnects and Zynga type dealer - I don't trust the site at all.

ihave had same disconnect problems so frustrating and customer service was no help I always use western union for withdraws and never a problem with that but I have seen several hands that were (well lets just say sketchy) hands that don't make ant sense why some one would go all in with nothing offsuit cards that wouldn't even caught a straight and take out your aces or kings makes me wonder who is really playing a bot or bol personal seeing my cards and dealing what he wants not even to make it look good and people on that table all say same thing

I played just CC freerolls there and didn't have any problem with connection. It not so good site for me to make deposit there.

The CC admin have nothing to respond?
Cardschat offer freeroll at BOL...
If it is poor like other says, maybe that the admin should chek this out....

I played just CC freerolls there and didn't have any problem with connection. It not so good site for me to make deposit there :)

I've made a ton money on this site playing 1 2 cash and mtts. But the disconnecting is a problem. Customer service is pretty low and yes the b j thing is annoying.

Yeah lots of fishies on this site for sure - but it is horrible to play without any lag / pause, makes the grind unbearable. Haven't put in any money to this and won't just hope they can resolve the issues and pay our winners.. I think ill stick to other sites for now though... thanks for the thread :)

I played on this site about three years ago, and after all the headaches I experience, I left. I don't play for big stakes, but want to enjoy playing poker, and did not enjoy this site at all. My suggestion would be avoid it like the plague.

No way you are entitled to 5th place money, that is for the person who actually finished 5th, and you're not entitled to the buy in back either, like they said read the T&C's, how do you know it was their servers and not some problem with your ISP's servers routing ability, you may still have had internet but your ISP might have had a problem connecting with the BOL server.

I'm not an admin or a Mod, but when only a few members of the 130000+ members that CardsChat has complain about trivial things like drop outs (which by the way happens at all sites) what do you expect them to say.

The freerolls CardsChat has there have over 130 members in them and I haven't heard any of them complain regularly about issues in the game threads.

I think this just proves that it is every players responsibility to educate themselves on a site before making a deposit. As far as the disconnecting, I agree that is a problem but I can't expect the site to pay a player the reward for whatever place they were in at the time they had a problem. Anyone could just shut things down if they got into first place and demand the top prize.

I also hate the blackjack stuck on the side of the ring games. I won't play cash games there anymore.

yup the blackjack stuck on the side is a drag. I attempted(10minutes) to find a way to get rid of the bj thingy. For this reason i said **** this place lol. Shoot if you dont make a deposit its only monopoly money anyway. For that reason not only is there dead money the dead money is playing for the house. So its simple for me i just dont go there. Me personally i give this site a fail but thats just my thoughts im sure there is people making a good run on BOL and a profitable one at that my hat goes off to them.

I just position the window to the far right of my screen so that the poker table is on the screen and the Black Jack table is off the screen to the right.

Personally, I haven't had many issues with BOL. I have some money on there from a freeroll I won a while back and built up a small BR with. The play can be odd at times, but I would rather play with people like that, in the long run, I will get the best of them.

Disconnections are more frequent then other sites, but it is usually very quick and I wont even miss 1 hand by the time I re-connect. I will say the BJ screen on cash tables is annoying.

But all in all, its not a bad site, and I think it is beatable.

I made a deposit on BOL and never will again, because some of those same things happened to me, and I lost that money in about a week. Also I don't even play our freeroll there. I'll say the same thing. Stay away from BOL. But there are players that like the site, and if you do, keep on playing, and GL

Thanks for the tip I've been having the same issues and also a lot on PKR too constantly loosing connection to with their table while my internet is working perfectly

Just my two cents...had a similar experience with betonline. I received a $50 free bet bonus a while back. Used it and won my bet. Took my profit to poker and ran it up to 1k. Then i go to cash out and i'm told i have a rollover to complete and must make a 50 dollar deposit as well. The rollover was like 50x. I had top bet almost 2k to be able to cash out. Only specific bets too. Winded up losing a lot of it. Then the remainder wasn't enough to cash out. Swore off that site after that. To be fair and honest though, I do know some players (U.S.) that play and have cashed out on this site.
