They have an offer on where if you deposit $30 you get a free $5.50 ticket to a time tourney. Think I'll do this tomorrow. For those that don't know what a time tourney is its jut a MTT that runs for a set amount of time. I'm just wondering what people think my best bet of entering with my free ticket is. The options are: 30 mins, 60 mins, 90 mins, 120 mins and 180 mins. Does everyone else think that the best one to enter here is the 30 minutes one? I'm thinking the longest ones will have a shit ROI as well as having tougher fields. The 30 minute ones are more likely to have questionable plays so for someone who hasn't played many of these type and doesn't really venture to $5.50 MTT these4 are my best bet I think. I'm tempted by 60 mins though as that allows for some play as well as getting some ok money.

I'm gonna deposit the $30 to try these too. Haven't looked at the schedule yet to see what I'm gonna play. When they were first up, they had really small blinds so there wasn't much profit to be had. Now they have changed the structure it's more like a 2X turbo tourney or something. Don't think I'll be playing too many after the free one though.

played a $11 30 min one earlier and it was nuts, 6 min levels, 2k starting at 50/100/x or something like that and 2nd level of 100/200/x was as far as i made

so incred they can introduce gimmicks like this but still don't have an automated deal system or automatic equity payouts after server crashes

Do you know the rules regarding withdrawals after deposit? I'm wondering if there's a clause to stop quick withdrawals when people just deposit for the ticket.I looked on site but couldn't find any small print and I plan on withdrawing after a few days. I've tried a few $1.10 ones and not a paticular fan of them.

Not exactly sure of the rules but I've done it before when they had the free $7 SNG ticket and had no problem. Think it was 3 days after the cc deposit last time. Should work the same for this. Stars is always easy to cash out from!

Played it just now, really don't like the format, it feels more like a lottery than anything. If you don't get a hand worth going all in with then you're pretty ****ed.

Well you get a 2500 stack for $5.00 (thats how much goes in the prize pool) So I presume you get paid out $1 for every 500 chips. The 3 hour ones really don't seem worth that at all.

Played mine on Sunday. Won't be playing them again. Really fast structure so it was just a shovefest.

I think they're pretty much terrible.
The saying, "nlhe Tournaments are pretty much a lottery.... just that the better players show up with alot more tickets"... in these 'Time Tourneys', seems more like each player has the same number of tickets. Might suit a gambler as an alternative to playing the lottery but imo they're garbage/waste of 'Time'.

... watched my friend play one the other day, they picked up 'AA' in Level2, first hand they'd played, 4-bet shoved aipf & got 5 callers!! LOL (no, the AA didn't hold)
