I've hit a problem with my frozen pokerstars account and would appreciate any advice.

A few months back my account was frozen when I logged on on a friends PC. In doing so I reset my (forgotten) password and changed my email address. Stars froze my account and asked for ID info to unfreeze it. I didn't have it available at the time and wasn't using them much so it wasn't until six weeks later that I sent a copy of my passport as they had requested. That was 3 weeks ago during which time I have emailed 3 times and just received a generic 'it has been passed to a specialist' etc.

So, do any of you guys know how I might proceed? Is there a number I can call or an email address other than 'support@pokerstars.com' that might get things moving. There's $500 or so in my account which would come in handy and it is just looking all a bit fishy.

Many thanks in advance - Martin.

PokerStars support has a pretty good reputation, for a good reason. They'll get back to you when they figure it out.

I don't have any links at all, being a US player, i have lost that inf a long time ago. All I can suggest is repeatedly emailing and trying to contact them through support. Good luck

Hi The Pup,

I can try to help look into this for you. If you can send me an e-mail to vip_canada@pokerstars.com from your PokerStars registered email address and include your Username, I can hopefully help out or at least get an update on what the hold-up is.

Thanks,

Dylan C
