I've been playing a lot of the $4 sit and gos lately at stars with a .75 bounty for each player knocked out. I really like that format. It helps the action a lot and makes it more difficult to pull off an all in bluff. Anyone else playing in them? Thoughts?

I like them too. I usually do pretty good, I've finished 1st and 2nd in two of the last three I've played.

In a couple I've almost gotten my buy-in back from the bounties before we're even in the money.

Of course on the flip side of that, I've had some bad suck-outs from big stacks calling with complete garbage hoping to catch lucky and collect the bounty. All in all though I prefer them to regular sngs.

I don't think I would play them to make money on, it would be more for entertainment and something new.

Bounties are fine, but they should be a lot more than a dollar or two. More in the range of five dollars to ten dollars..That would help offset the rake taken on every hand.

Thank you, sendittoken..:) ;)

Bounties sit and go are quite cool, you get the bonus for knocking out players.
Getting bad beats on those suck though.

I think he must be talking about the tourney fee which is rake. But then again he did say every hand so I am just as confused. Anyway I think the KO games are great. The desire to take out your opponent becomes even greater.

When I saw you post this I was thinkin O8 sweet, NL must be a mistake. However, it wasn't, just how greedy will PS go to finish games as fast as they can to make money. I have NEVER seen NLO8 anywhere, live or online, untill now on PS. I guess PS must stand for Phish Seeker, watched for a while tonite and saw nut flushes beat by the board pairing on 7th to complete a boat 3 times,,,,wicked rng.

I have been playing the 4+.40 180 SNGs on Stars a lot this week. I'm no closer to cashing than I am to sleeping with Beyonce. Best place so far is 42nd. :(

In my opinion the NL08 games don't go any faster than the NLHE games. The bubble and the final three a lot of times take longer than the bubble in a holdem game but the entire game on average still takes over an hour for one of these.
