Stay away from this site!!!!! It is rigged with "action flops" google the term if you do not know it, and they do everything possible NOT to payout when you want to take your money!!! It's easy to deposit, to easy... but when you want to take your money they want utility bills with your address and name on them along with sending pictures of your photo ID. They told me my ID was to dark and couldn't verify it was me!!!! Can you believe that???? When I deposited all I had to do was use my card with no verification that it was even me!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!! If anyone knows legit poker sites for US players I would love to hear from you.

How dare they try to verify a persons identity to make sure they are actually paying the right person. </sarcasm>
You do realize that in the really real world there are action flops. Ever watch poker on tv? Have you never seen set over set, set against flopped straight, full house flopped with whatever the big blind is holding, aces cracked with crap? I sure have as well as everyone else who has watched poker.
Grow up man and realize that not everything in life is rigged, oh and guess what people will ask to see your id, utility bill, social security card, and or birth certificate in the real world. Good luck flipping out on them and trying to get anywhere.

^^^^ what he said :)

All poker sites do the same thing - if you don't like that you won't find a site you are happy with.

You missed the point entirely Babho. Nice try though <sarcasm> They don't verify that it is you when you deposit but make it super difficult the withdraw your winnings. Get it? I really don't care to hear back from you though.

Actually they are planning on running an Anonymous Poker Series in 2013. Many details aren't out yet. I think they are waiting until Bodog88 is fully integrated, the UK problem is solved, and hmmm I cant recall that other Asian partner, but until they get their playerpools in.

What I have read is that the ME is a live event in Manila for 100k, but that's in January 2014. From what I understand the series will be both online and live events.

Nobody cares that they refused to pay me when I wanted to cash out? That's life? If the company you worked for refused to pay you would you say "meh, that's life?" I was trying to warn people about that among other things about the site and I get called a whinner. Well go ahead and deposit away! Doesn't matter what you get you bank roll up to you will never see it. I don't know any of you personally so why should I care enough to try and warn you.

What they're asking for (proof of identity) is standard at all poker rooms. Would you freak out at the bank if they asked for ID?

Yep. Many people try to cheat them by opening many accounts, taking advantage of bonus, ripping other players off by several means, so they ask for ID and utility bills. Every single online site now.

And they do not check at Deposit because it is much less expensive to check at withdrawal time. They would need a much larger staff to check everyone depositing, because a lot of people never withdraw.

Also, when you try to withdraw they make a check on your account to see if you have been chip dumping, colluding, if you have joined the site before and cheated them or others.

I play on sportsbook also and this is a regular complaint about the site. I have played with several players that say they haven't been able to withdraw their winnings. I'm sure nobody else has ever been frustrated enough about something to post about it on the internet.... <sarcasm> It's not just sportsbook, it's the whole merge network and online poker in general.

Sportsbook may be slow for the first check (up to 8 weeks), but after that, assuming you've requested multiple checks, they tend to come 10-14 days apart. They certainly do pay out players.

I noticed yesterday they got a big series starting but the schedule is not as appitising as carbon.Main event is 250000 but 450 buy in.Theres no small buy in with big guarentees.
Ill probably try some sattellites but wish they had some 11 buy ins with 10000 to 20000 guarentees.

Did you only look at the "Championship Series?" If you want smaller buyins ($3-$55) with higher guarantees then you should check out the "Contender Series." Which started yesterday btw.

He is right with the action flop bad beats

on sportsbook.ag after you realize that it is rigged and you lose all the money you played poker with. come back to this page and let the world know. You will suffer countless bad beats even when you are mathematically sound, rivered on crucial times, many times. you won't make any money playing poker here. but dont listen to me or your pairs go ahead and deposit play some poker on their site and you will lose that deposit. I promise.

I did my good deed to humanity by taking time to report what I truly know. Whatever you experience please share and let the populace know of the dangers.

I haven't been able to deposit at sportsbook for a long time. I lost the little I originally deposited. They occasionally send me money for a free bet or money to use in the casino. I did manage to get lucky enough to make a $100 profit on BJ (with free money they gave me) and was able to cashout no problems. I had verified my ID and address with them a while back. Took less than a week to receive a check from them.
