I have seen that in spin n go there is a chance for you to make a lot of money but is it worth it?
Also has anyone made big money on it?

Where is the profit in that? 1 player win 2 lose and in almost every sng its double....1 for 2... stay away from Spin N Go and zoom :)

In the long distance to be in profit it is necessary to win the jackpot or play a lot games in order to achieve supernova, to receive good rakeback...

I have been playing the spin and go's a bit the last few days at the $7 buyin..averaging $28 prizepools and had a couple higher prizepools and winning a few of them, therefore definitely profiting. Prior to this past week, I was playing the $1 buyin games and had very little luck, because for the most part anyone who is playing this level is going to experience a lot of allins every hand and no thinking involved whatsoever. At least with the higher buyins there is some thought required (from what I can tell) since folks are looking at the better or higher prize pools. This is just my experience and observations.

My take? If you want fast action and an outcome that has little to do with real poker strategy, then play them. They can be fun.

As far as having an edge, there are much better games to play. Spin n go are pretty much a lottery.

You must very be very lucky with cards to play the game.

Its more of a preflop play than a postflop play.

spin and go is a great way to lose all your money
u play one and u lose because the opponent was lucky at heads up
so u decide to play one more and the same
u may win one of three but it is not profitable

hi!
its not profitable at all.mou play with 2 opponents to double your money
i also think that the site wins money not only from the rake but also keeps some money from the players
besides its a game of luck only.no skill at all.waste of time

tried to spin ngo into mtt on ACR the tourney was 5.50 buyin and spin cost 25cents spent 5$ AND didn't get entry. I figured I was going to buyin for the 5 so I should spin 5 worth and maybe I can save a buck or 2 lol but that didn't happen should have just bought directly in will not be doing those again ever

When I saw this post I thought you were talking about the spin to win entry option on ACR/BCP. But looks like you are talking about PS. Not sure if they are they are similar. If they are, I have had no luck winning an entry to an game, regardless of buy-in amount through the spin n win option. So I have been staying away from trying to get in that way. I wonder if anyone has won an entry to any game that way now that I think about it.

I don't know for me it was profitable.
I played 5 1$ spin&go's a day during 7 days. 35$ overall.
I earned 36 or 38$ from spin&go's and additionally 10-15$ from bonus shootouts.
Around 15$ profit.

I dont think its the same. On PS it is 3 players for a prize of 2 buyins or more for 1st place

The players are quite weak in Spin&Go, so it can be profitable. Even with the fact that most of prices are just double buy-in.

What is the problem is the variance. Even with like 20% edge, you still can loose money. You would have to play tons of them to beat variance.
