Big statement i know but hear me out...

*It is not beatable for a grinder
*The format is so quick that there is little play, especially in the long run
*The chances of playing for more than double you buy in is slim (i have played a lot on various sites)
*Playing for the jackpot seems as likely as winning the lottery
*It takes fish away from MTTs and Cash tables
*Things like 180 mans and 90 mans have slowed down enough before spin and go's further reducing the traffic

Desperate times call for desperate measures.
I would not be a buyer of gaming stocks with all of the latest developments.
I agree with everything you have written.

I feel it is poor times for poker and i worry for the future of the game online!

I played a few of these on Ipoker network and had to admit the variances were too high if you looking to be a grinder on this game.

If your a grinder with 2 fish opponents, most likely one of them will become champion.

Agree likewise on the second statement. Little room for making plays.

With this I do not agree, possible earn in spingo, it all depends on your skill..

Many regulars has already more 3k games and ROI approximately 8% ...

Everything you said is true. And the spin and go's are to easy to get addicted to and lose lots of moneys.

Fish like to play bingo poker --> Giving them a game to play which is very close to bingo/pure luck style entices them. They leave poker tables and focus all energy on Spin and Go. pokerstars master plan works! muahhhahahah

I think it is the other way round and brings more fishes, amateurs and gamblers into poker which is only going to be good for the the game and the pros are gonna like it too.

So i think it is great for poker in general.

At low buyins, there is no waiting time. You click register and it's instant play. This may appeal to someone wanting a quick play. There seems to be no lack of players for that bingo format.

i dont mind these spin and goes to be honest, register into 2 and win one and you're breakeven since most of the time it's only a 2x multiplier but then every once in a while the multiplier will be higher and if you are able to continue winning 1 out of every 2 of them then you will make a small amount of profit as well as improve your short handed game.

i've played about 20 of the $1 ones and had mostly $2 prizepools a few $4 + $6 ones and one $10 one but i've only played 3-4 $3 spin and goes and 2 of them were for $18 prizepool.

not something to consider grinding but also sticking $10 or so a month into it might not be a bad idea either

Its different that's all.
Most of the traffic will die down & players will see the downside to it.

Its is however very good & I do recommend trying it if your short game.

I've played 8 and won 7... however, as a game they are just like the all in shootouts... but if you look at them as cheap practice for the last 3 at a final table then why not. Don't get me wrong... most of the ones I've played were paid for by a ticket from the spin and go promotion. They're not something I'd normally play but I believe it's good to keep on adding variety in poker. NLHE may be the game of the moment but remember... stud was that game before that. Poker needs to evolve to survive and that means new formats have to be tried. I don't like the spin and go format too much but if it wasn't that it'd be another variation
