Does anyone play there? I saw ad in cardplayer magazine. They want $19.99 month membership fee. But they say 1st month free trial for $1.

I played there when it was still in beta. Didn't like it then, and when they went subscription I passed on the opportunity. To me the software was unappealing, and therefor uncomfortable.

I started there and still check in every now and then. The first $1 is for Adm. fees I guess, but if you want to get started for low-risk-big-payouts, try it. Theres $500 dailies, $1000 weekly, and $30,000 once-a-month games.

It's like the ad for male enhancement pills ... FREE for the cost of a postage stamp, your Credit Card number and enrollment in a shipping program ... :D ... then it's FREEEEEEE.....

I won a monthly membership and did cash in a few tourneys. I found the poker to be about the lowest level you can think of, just short of playing bingo with a deck of cards. No bluffing, no skill, and more suck-outs than a decent player wants to deal with. After questioning one player about making a baffling call he explained he just didn't take poker seriously, and was just playing for kicks. You might make some money there, but your game might suffer.

The site is garbage if you ask me. More and more people and prizes never go up.

It was a great site when it started up a couple of years ago. Reason? Not many players, very easy to win points and not too many people in the tourneys. I used to be able to win my montly fee every month in a special tourney that paid $19.99 to top 4 places and ony about 80 to 90 players would be in the tourney. Now it is top 2 places paid and 400 entrants...there are a ton of people playing there now, like 400 in a 10 dollar freeroll. It is a good site though, but too hard now to keep up with the $19.99 monthly fee. Also remember, there are no cash games. You have to give your credit card info up front, even for a trial membership, and it will be automatically charged the monthly fee unless you cancel your membership. The good thing is that your bankroll is never at risk because there are no cash games! It's boring but no tilting and no bankroll management required!

Played on sapdeclub for 3 months. Got all three month for just that 1$ trial because they have tournies to win free memberships. Only reason why that site is good is for the $30,000 monthly tournament. However all of the tournaments play out like a freeroll, maybe even worse because there are tournaments starting every 15 minutes.

Depositing that $20 on another site would be smarter and more profitable imo. You will have better opportunity to increase your bankroll with good solid playing, instead of having to get lucky in those stupid spadeclub tournaments.

I can only see spadeclub being good for beginers because it is better then play money play, and you dont have to worry about losing lots of money to learn basics of game or bankroll managment.

dd decker- there are A LOT more people playing there now a days.

I just started playing here and really enjoy it. Im from Michigan so they do not allow me to do the exclusive membership so i just play for free but can cash on a couple of the dailys. I would say if you dont like satellite tourneys however this site might not be for you. I fee that it is a good fit for myself however because im trying to make money without risking any and cashed on the second tourney i played in. In my opinion i would say it is a great place to learn and still possibly cash. Use my name if you sign up for exclusive membership. aprocketsa. See you at the tables.
