Open skill, Premier skill?
I play every month but still could not get positive results. Any recommendations to improve my ranking?

Currently I'm in the top 2000, this is my first month.
You need to survive and also to double up a few times to have good chances getting in the top 1000 of each tournament. I think at the beginning it is good to play only strong hands to build some chips and then you can open up.
My best finish was 47th and my average is around 1000-1200 out of 8000-10000. Also there are time when I'm unlucky and bust out in the first 5-10 minutes.

Also finishing in around 1000th can already give you some good points.

Play only good starting hands.
Make big raises and big bets more than in a normal game.
If you have a good combination, put, put and put again.
If you have nothing, well, nothing can be done. Don't try to bluff.

i always finish in the best 1000 of the month so i think i'm a decent player in open skill league.
the harder thing is to survive first hour, i try to assure avplace in the best 25% so i don't lose points.
my recomendentions are:

1. start playing very conservative in preflop, only you could play a all-in with AA, if 2 or more players go all-in in preflop, fold with any hand.
2. NEVER, EVER do 3-bets during the first hour, if someone raise and you have a good hand, just call.
3. if you connect a good hand in flop, play aggresive, a all-in is not a bad decision.
4. if you are in late position and nobody rise, call whit any hand to see the flop, note that during the first 30 minutes is not easy to enter calling at flop.
5. once you get a place in 15% play normal, still tight (if your stack is not strong) but more aggresive whit strong hands at preflop.
6. if you get a strong stack ( over 30 blinds) try yo play loose but with small bets at preflop.
7. try to steal blinds only after first hour, never do it before.

First 3 blinds play only with AA's, KK's, etc. Before that it's useless to steal blinds..
After that it's all about positioning and tri-bet for steal.

I played there for a long time. But more than 75-place rise failed (. Tips correct only play AA, KK in the first hour. But even playing them I take off on early stages very often. But do not play at first hour it's not real. Try and fortune should smile, I hope so.

At the beginning of the tournament be tight, there's so much fishes and the will go all in all time , only play with AA KK or QQ when is JJ think it, but the rest of the tournament play hard and try to make the best position to with points for the league . GL!!
