It seems our good friends on the reservations have done it again.

Atlantis Internet Group Signs With Cake to Power Tribal Online Poker

http://onlinecasinosuite.com/casino...-with-cake-to-power-tribal-online-poker/2163/

In what could be a sign of things to come for online casino gambling in the United States, Las Vegas-based Atlantis Internet Group has signed an agreement with the popular Cake Poker Network (powering U.S. favorite, Doyle’s Room), to create a wide area online poker network for players residing in regulated tribal casino State’s.

In other news -

my home state of NJ has moved a bill from committee to Senate that would essentially allow casinos in Atlantic City to offer online gaming sites. The problem here is that it would become illegal for non licensed sites to offer iGaming to NJ residents. Which means no more FTP, PS...etc....for NJ players.

Sounds like you should be careful what you wish for. Trade one casino for FTP/PS/AB/UB?

I hope they don't do this to me in Texas.

Well then maybe that would be good since u would be playing a select crowd and you would start to understand there palying habits and develope a strategy for it. If u play the same people enough times u learn what kinda player they are :) who knows could be a Plus

I am not sure that the NJ news is all that great. Was hoping for legislation (if they had to go that route at all) that would allow us to choose where we wanted to play but of course they have to help out the lobbyists and who better to help then the billionaires in Atlantic City. We won't just have to play other people in NJ as these would also be open to people in other countries as well. It would be restricted to any other state players. If it becomes enforceable that playing on FT and PS is illegal afte this bill passes then yes we in NJ got royally shafted. What is is new though right. Do I have to get into how much we pay for car insurance here.

As far as the Indian Reservation news goes I am reading more now that seems to indicate you have to be on a reservation in order to play. This makes no sense to me at all since the idea of playing online should mean doing it form anywhere. Hopefully we will know more about this soon. Would seem to me that any server that was hosted on a reservation should be exempt and people should be able to play on those sites. Then again I am one that thinks adults should be able to spend their hard earned money on whatever they want. Especially a recreational game like this that brings much enjoyment.

I go to college in NJ. I'm going to be pretty upset if you aren't allowed to play on FT or PS there. I really hope this sort of thing doesnt pass.
