I was just wandering if people were playing better, worse, or the same without us players? Some people claim that Americans players are reckless with their money. I always felt that Europeans and Russians were more aggressive than USA players.

It's harder to win a full stack with only an overpair, which often happened against US donks. For example :QQ vs AJ on J46 board

Now, it's easier to bluff, because Eastern Europeans are more likely to fold than Americans..

It really depends upon what games & what stakes you're talking about here. In micros ($5-$10 buyin range, SNG/MTT) I know the games are softer. In higher buyins they are also softer than before BlackFriday (a good percentage of the top regs. are US players)

Interesting observation > "US donks". Wonder what games you're referring to here ^

imo, games are definitely softer without the US players on the tables.

I find it close to impossible to get someone stack off with 1 pair hand after BF.. It was something usual in microstakes before... especially when the games were full with Americans.

Yes... My thinking is that good US players have been around longer than rest of world because of early exposure and promotion, they are a few years ahead. they are sharper and better schooled... Now I see increasing numbers of Romanians, Spaniards, Brits, Russians, Chinese, and yes Canucks, who are just now entering the field at guppy level...

In a way the game is going back to early days, wild west shootemup where skilled players have a good edge every day... almost

I think US players are better than the europeans players, specially the french players. I play very often on Everest Poker and there have a lot of french players and they are not good players.

Well iv been playing on Carbon since march 10NL-25NL and since black friday its reg central. It seems alot of the US grinders quickly jumped over to merge to build a roll (playing below their normal level). You cant change tables because theres only a limited amount.

I read a couple of threads on 2plus2 and this is the general consensus. I cant remember the last time I seen a passive fish. Theres always between 2-4 regs on each table that will 3bet your steals, raise cbets, float and generally just make things tough for you. I have no problem playing back at them with 4bets and doing the same thing in position but its harder work than the micro stakes should be.

US players dont have a choice but I do so its back to poker stars for me. It will be nice to table select again!

Those of you who have played on Carbon, Bovada and pokerstars - how would you rank the level of players on all three sites?

Hopefully one of these days poker will be legal again in USA and this will be a moot issue :)

you need to have players from all over to be eligible system ...
system can not become independent.
