So there was this Full Tilt satellite....

...to a miniFTOPS event this morning. I was a little bored with the micro cash games, so I entered. It was $1.25. It was also a rebuy, which didn't bother me since it was just $1.25. So I made my one add-on, played pretty good (and had a little luck) and won the one seat it was awarding. Now if I had either a) thought about the fact that the satellite was a rebuy or b) looked at the tournament I was trying to get into....Well, I might have figured out that it too was a rebuy tourney. So now I'm in a rebuy tourney...I beleive it's a $20 tourney, and of course my bankroll says not to play because obviously I'll have to at least do an add-on or I may as well just paint a target on my back when I play.
So I ask...can I withdraw from the tourney and get the $20 (or whatever it is)? Or do I have to play? Or do I get tourney dollars if I withdraw? And if I do, can I use them for any tourneys? I just don't want to hit that 'unregister' button and be out of the tourney and get nothing.

Youll get tourney dollars if you unregister I believe. Then you can use those tourney dollars to buyin to smaller tourneys.

Also keep in mind if you buy into a satty with points and unregister from the tourney, you will not get T$ you will get points.

sometimes they give you tournament tickets as well. Its best to unregister and see what happens

my friend once got a ticket into the weekly $1000 tournament, he hit unregister to see what he would get and he got nothing lol

You can use those to buy into any SNG or MTT. You can also change it over to cash for I believe a 5% surcharge (but not necessary if you're playing SNG's or MTTs)

yea if you email them they can reregister you into the freeroll

That's what I did (SNG's), no more tourney dollars. Replaced it with $29 real dollars. Could have turned out worse I suppose.
