Just read this and almost fell of my chair:

Las Vegas giant Harrah’s entered the online gaming industry this year with their own brand of online casino and poker room.

Harrah’s online endeavors with Caesars Casino and Caesars Poker are only available internationally and not in the USA, but as time will tell the UIGEA gambling ban may be repealed soon and that would give USA players the opportunity to register an account at these two highly respected new sites and support online gaming sites that were born in the USA.

Just when I thought I couldn't be more outraged over the blackout and monopoly issue, I discovered that it's OK for US companies to own poker sites, as long as US PLAYERS AREN'T ALLOWED TO PLAY.

For the most part, I feel comfortable playing poker online. I would feel totally comfortable if US companies were allowed to run online poker rooms but were regulated by Washington.
