So I am just infuriated at bet365. :(

In the latest update to their poker client they have removed the ability to bet the pot preflop. Why on Earth would anyone do that? I talked to customer service and they say that this is how it is. 90% of the times I make pot 3 bets so this is really frustrating thing for me having to calculate it myself or just manually pick an amount.

Are their other sites as well which don't let you do that?

Bet365 has went right downhill especially with the new software that's why I have moved to pokerstars.

Better table selection, more traffic, more fish, better software.

if you go by the rules of live poker, the dealer is NEVER supposed to tell you what the pot is in a NLH game, even if a player asks, cash or tournament, its on the player to know themselves. if online wants to be closer to live then this is the right move.

also - isnt there a graphic that shows you what the pot is anyways?

Well if we are to go by that logic then why are you allowed to bet 50% of the pot with a single click? In live poker it takes a little time to bet exactly 50%. Can you imagine online poker where automatic % bets are gone?

You see live and online is different and thats how it should be. In live poker you have a lot more time for every decision and you are playing just 1 table. Online poker has its own convenience pros and a decision like this just needlessly takes it away.

Yes we know the pot size every time in online poker however when you are 2+ betting you have to take into account your call and then raise.

I don't know how are things right now at Bet365,because they closed my account.I didn't log in to their software nor their website probably for a year,so they decided to close my account.I am registered at many other online poker rooms and something like this happened only at Bet365.

They even messed up the color coding of players. You can't easily see it when a player is to act and folded players have a different shade than those in the hand. I was using 5 different colors previously but now I'll have to reduce because it will get so confusing otherwise.

The pot bet thing is also not inherently a problem but it just wastes precious time in multi tabling.

It was taking me longer to see at a glance how many players are playing vs sit out. It was also confusing at times to see if someone has limped or not. I guess these 2 things might just be about getting more used to the new interface.

There are some good things as well like auto time bank even if no money invested in pot which will now ensure I can take pee breaks without missing a hand.

Thinker honest try Stars and u will never look back, everyone says it is so much harder well that imo is a lie if you play 4-8 tables and table select you can still maintain a decent winrate.

Bet 365 have also lost the dealers voice. Dealing flop dealing turn dealing river .what the heck has happened. Think it's across the board in all I poker now. Last weekend I made the full time move to pkr . Played there a bit before. Love the 3d tables . It makes it feel even more real. And now Theld merging with micro gaming. I hope they don't change there 3d tables and set up. Which in my humble opinion is by far the best around.
