Anyone know any live casinos that allow smoking in the poker room? I smoke a pack a day and sitting through a tourney without a cigarette is killing me.

Most casinos that I have been to don't allow you to do that. I've been to Vegas, Atlantic City, and some in Southern California. I do know that you can smoke "usually" near by like it a sportsbook room or something where its designated.

I will have to say that its a good thing because I quit and I can't stand the smell anymore. It's also dirty on the chips.

Never been to one that allows it. Usually there is a smoking section nearby though

Thankfully I don't know of any. I would not play in them if they did allow it.

There are few people I dislike more than smokers who think it is okay to blow their smoke in the air other people have to breathe.

It causes cancer - take that risk for yourself - don't give it to other people. :)

I have the exact mindset, I think people who blow that smoke in the air that people and even kids breathe are jerks.

On topic, doesn't a tournament have a break every now and then, allowing you to smoke? If not, as there aren't much casinos that allow this, you probably will have to defeat your eager for a cigarette.

Yeah every cardroom I have sat in hasn't allowed smoking. You always need to step outside of the room and into the pit/bar areas if you want to light up a cig. I couldn't stand to sit next to a bunch of people smoking butts while playing. Especially now that I've been smoke free for a few years.
