Because it is illegal for US residents to play online poker for real money, so some of the sites probably don't want to deal with legal issues.

This ^^ is FALSE. It is NOT illegal for US residents to play online. Please do not continue to perpetuate this myth. Educate yourself.

I didn't say it was illegal for US players to play online. I said it was illegal for US players to play online for REAL MONEY. Is this not true? If it's not then why do so many people have trouble funding accounts? Why do the credit card companies deny the funding with credit cards. And Please, I don't have the time to read legislation that is 244 pages long. I could win hundreds of dollars in online poker in the time it would take me to read that crap. If its not illegal then please explain to me in a paragraph.
Best Regards Dude

What is illegal in the US is for banks/ credit card ompanies to transfer money to online gaming sites. The playing of "real money" poker is not against ANY Federal statutes, although it is tehnically against the law in some states. As AG said, the pervading myth that playing poker online is against the law, is just that, a myth-conception.

The credit card companies deny transactions to online gaming sites because the onus is on them, and the banks, who are subject to stiff fines and other sanctions imposed under UIGEA. The nuances of the rules and regulations involved cannot be fully explored in a paragraph, but if you are a US player, keeping abreast of the general gist of "all that crap",is, or should be, of importance

Saying "How bout this?" assumes "This" is a stable object. Your avatar is not. If you want to reference a picture, attach it to your message. I like stable avatars since I kinda know who is talking when I scroll through a thread.

Yes, I thought of this, so I left the avatar up - I realise you have absolutely no way of knowing this and it's completely illogical, but photos in threads are annoying as the take up so much space so I decided against it. But here is the photo begrudgedly presented :):
