Which sites are the most rewarding?

Ok, so I've got several accounts now. I play at pokerstars, fulltilt and cake poker at the minute but I want to sign up to a site to get rakeback and some welcome bonuses to clear.

I never had the chance with the sites (apart from cake, but traffic is bad) I'm currently at because I signed up months and months ago, maybe even a year ago or longer and didn't know anything about rakeback and bonuses so I'd like to try on a different site.

I've currently narrowed it down to a few which people seem to play a lot on.

bodog, UB, Carbon and sportsbook.

Now, which is the most rewarding for bonuses and easiest to clear?

Also, which one has the most traffic for MTT and SnG's? I think because of my lowish bankrolls the rakeback would be far better at SnG's....so which actually fill up quite quickly? At cake, you're lucky to hit a 30man MTT SnG within half and hour so can't really "grind".

The MTT's are poor, you don't often get many signups!

Any advice would be great,

Thanks!

I don't have much experience with many of the smaller sites, but I would imagine that for SNG's you're going to find a hard time getting traffic anywhere other than Stars or Tilt. If you can get rakeback on Full Tilt then I would probably just play there. I guess if you really want the first deposit bonus you could try UB (signing up for rakeback of course), but again I don't think there are a lot of games going there.

Carbon's 35% rakeback is not too shabby. I also like their DON SNGs. However, as another poster said, if you can get rakeback at FTP, you might just want to play there. rakebackpros.com may be able to help.

As I say I already signed up for a full tilt account way before I knew anything about rakeback and applied for it from fulltilt but they said I couldn't receive it! :(

So UB and carbon seem to better ones?

If you didnt sign-up to fulltilt through an affiliate, then email them and ask for rakeback, it might take a while(mine took a year and many emails before I got it), but it's worth it.

Have you looked at virginpoker? Not much traffic, but bonus was pretty easy to clear just playing sngs and $1 mtts.

Traffics not great at Carbon but the low level sngs fill up reasonably quickly of an evening UK time.

Are these 1 table or MTT SNGS? Also what stakes, like $1-$10 do you class as low?

So... have you tried www.rakebackpros.com ? Like AA said?

I also signed up at Full Tilt straight at their site awhile back without any knowledge of rakeback or anything like that.. but I applied at rakebackpros for rakeback sometime last year and I now get 27% rakeback.

You should consider also Party, the Ongame Network (eg. betfair), and the Ipoker Network (eg. Titan), all of which have more traffic than any of the sites you name. You won`t see these European sites discussed as often here at CC because they are closed to American players and because several of the most active posters here are American, but that doesn`t mean that you should disregard them.

I second what Egon says, as I play exclusively at Party right now. Their $1 and $2 guaranteed MTTs rarely make guarantee through buyins, only through rebuys and addons, so you get a fairly small field and it's not too hard to finish in the money. If you're not American then Party is a decent choice to play. The problem is that they do not offer rakeback and their bonuses are very hard to clear at micro levels, plus they rarely offer decent deposit bonuses. But they do offer all first-time depositors a free one-month membership in DragTheBar, which is a nice bonus for someone just starting out.

I also tip my hat to Egon for pointing out to people that NOT EVERYONE LIVES IN THE UNITED STATES. We definitely need more discussion of non-American poker issues here.

CC is a Worldwide Poker Community, as it says at the top of every page. Currently, it sometimes seems a little more American in flavour than truly International, but that`s because there are some really active and enthusiastic American members, and full marks to them for that.

There is absolutely nothing to stop anyone from posting about online poker rooms and tournaments which are not open to American players, or writing about their experience of live play in venues outside of the US, and I am sure none of us would have a problem with reading more threads of that kind.

I would recomend

Ipoker. There is alot differnt skins but usally they have pretty easy bonuses o clear. If they promote. They have really good mtts. Specialy when they doing ECOOP ROFL. Think last year I manage to qualify for all events with high buyins from almost nothing. It was sick value. Dont think any tournament hadnt sick owerlay.

Then Im not sure how Entraction will be now when they got alot of VC players moved there from ipoker. Think when I looked last time they had alot players on but I hate the software ( its swedish like me) hahaha

I think I'm going for Titan, their VIP programme seems very rewarding and nice indeed even without rake back.

Many thanks!

If you play sngs then sign up at any ongame skin for sure. Their sign up bonuses effectively equal 62.5% rakeback. Bwin, betfair, scandic, hollywood, tower gaming are all ongame sites.

All sites have their share of complaints from their member. Full Tilt recently had an issue with one of their members of shutting down his account. Some sites have this too. Maybe go with what your guts tell you.
it seems Full Tilt had very good reason to suspend that member's account.....

Some stuff regarding Titan.
First off.. sign up thru the CC link & you get to play in the Monthly $1,000 freeroll (I've been fortunate to have quite a few decent cashes in this - - fairly small number of entrants & top few places pay out very well (ie. 1st ~$400, 2nd $250). You will be facing a few of us CC'rs in these though... but a bunch of really bad players in it too.

As far as MTT-SNG's go on Titan. They have 30plyr. ones but very low traffic in these (not sure if they have any under $5). There's usually only 2-3 of them running during peak hrs. & then tapers off to two of them (& that's if you're playing both the $5's & $10's). Structure in these is faster than a 27plyr. reg. on Fulltilt.. with games lasting not much more than 1hr.
The STT-SNG are 10plyr. tables. There's a handful of solid players in them & some real bad ones too (ie. call down 3streets w MidPr.). I've played very few of them.

Titan has a handful of decent MTT's with fields of ~300-1,200 entrants. Also some decent $5 & $10rebuys (a bit more expensive obv.).. not sure of any cheaper rebuys on there but have never really looked.
They have some decent $20-$30 mtts as well with around 90-200 entrants & starting stacks of 3,000 to 6,000 (depending which ones you're entering).

Another site to consider (if you're into playing micro cash tables) is 888Poker. Cardschat is running a promo on there for depositers.. a $1,000 freeroll. I'd expect the number of entrants in this to be quite low so it could be a great bankroll boost for ya.
The micro cash tables on 888Poker are some of the softest I've ever seen. I've quoted some of my success on them & met with alot of comments of disbelief (ie. not unusual for me to play a few thousand hands with a winrate of 100bb/100 & REALLY rare to have a losing session). I use that site to 'have fun' on... & so far it has been FUN!
888Poker also has some decent MTTs too. ($10-$20 range have 3,000chip starting stacks, some with 15min. blind levels). Tournament play on that site is real soft too!!!
One drawback to that site though is... bonuses are next to impossible to clear for a micro stakes player. (maybe 'next to impossible' is an understatement... I don't even think they are possible to clear for someone playing microstakes).
I've only tried a couple of micro buyin SNGs on there..... play was VERY weak! (not sure about traffic though).

totally agree with you on all you wrote about 888poker, and 110% agree with all Ive bolded!
Got halfway thru 10% of my bonus playing 4 tables of 1c/2c for an average of an hour a day, and ran out of time, lol.
Theres lots of $1 mtts, and rebuy freerolls, depending on how low your bankroll is(like mine!)

doesnt work that way now on carbon. they changed everything to where its month by month for the rakeback benefits you receive. i am fed up with carbon.

Since he is a master, good thing he is a sitter and not a baiter.....

SnGs are going to be on and off at all the smaller sites. I have also heard good stuff about playing them on Titan and Party, but this is only hearsay, as I havent tried them. I can imaging you need to try in the recreational times i.e. after work and on weekends, so after 5 p.m. CET, I would think??

MTTs will be available at various times at all sites, and smaller sites can have smaller and softer fields (compared to Tilt and Stars), so most of the sites mentioned here could be interesting for these.

Tournament play on Titan really drops off after ~19:00 est (whatever time that is... oh.. that'd be 00:00 GMT). This is a drawback for myself because I like playing in the evening where I live & there's really not much running then.

Just another thought for OP...... you've got a decent oppurtunity to checkout what the software is like at Titan... by playing in this weekend's OFC on 'myBet'
