I haven't done any investigating yet, but I'm wondering if the Guaranteed $ Tournaments on FTP and PS will have some solid overlays with such a huge number of players unable to play this weekend...

Or maybe they will, or have already, adjusted their numbers...

Also assuming the bodog tourneys are going to be much much larger...

Thoughts or info?

Just got my answer

Pokerstars has kept the number of guaranteed tournaments the same, but adjusted the amount guaranteed.

Sorry to all our American friends who got screwed up this weekend. Hope everything works out with withdrawals, etc. My relatively uninformed opinion is that they will come to an arrangement whereby the US will receive some tax revenue from the sites, and all will be forgiven...

I have thought about this as well, and am also on the lookout for info on which guaranteed tournaments offer best value, and whether or not prize pools have been reduced yet. Take what advantage I can of this unfortunate situation. Being a bankroll nit, I have never played a big Sunday tournament before, but if ever there's a time to take a shot, I figure this weekend might be it.

Do you know what the situation is for Full Tilt?

Full tilt poker Closedown

Just to let the members of full tilt poker who live in the UK know. I can log on and play as normal. I can deposit and withdraw. So you will be able to get your money back, no problem.:)

The tournaments I looked into on Full Tilt just after the shutdown came into effect seemed to fill slowly, but by the end of late registration they were still making their guarantee amounts without overlay.

Anyone with rakeback needs to keep the effect of big overlays in mind too...

played 3 guarantees this morning, 4am my time(11pm US time), all $1-$2 buy-ins, and all had overlays, one at FT, one at PS, and on at UB
