I don't understand the point of this thread. If you want time bank don't play zone poker. It a pretty self-explanatory question. Zone/Rush/Zoom= fast play.

The Point

The point is to see the consensus as was listed above. Hence the poll.. I personally think that if every player who has folded is no longer waiting for your action, since they have moved on to a new table, and started a new hand already. Having 10-15 more seconds to decide a tough call or fold wouldn't be a terrible thing. I COMPLETELY understand if it bothered me to the point I couldn't hack the game...I have the option to NOT play Zone poker. Thank you for your interest in checking out this thread though, despite the fact that I believe it was adequately titled so you knew the purpose of the thread, before you clicked on it.

I believe the title is specific enough, without being overly wordy. It is meant to get across the point of the thread, which is then an elaboration of the title. Or am I misunderstanding how this whole forum things is supposed to work? I think jcdagenuis, gets it he posted his opinion, and I imagine might have selected "no, defeats the purpose..." on the poll..Thank you for your input jc!

There should be no time bank and really the time to act should be cut in-half. Currently it's still 30 seconds and I think that's just too long for the kind of speed I'm looking for in Zone poker. 15 seconds should be more than enough, and overall the experience isn't bad.

Currently the time to act is 15 seconds.....where are you playing that the time limit is 30 seconds?

At Bovada when I was playing Zone Poker it was 30 seconds to act. It may have changed but I specifically remember the 30 seconds to act as some people seemed to be draining it and was just taking forever.

I voted no it defeats the purpose, the 15 or 30 seconds is plenty of time for that style of play, imo

This thread is a little old I know, but I'm putting my two cents in.

I think it's 15 seconds. It's way too little time, considering that Bovada does not give you an easy way of making 2/3 or 3/4 bets. As I am slightly retarded, 15 seconds is not always enough time for me to do the poker math that I need to do, as well as deduce what my opponent has, in order make good decisions. I often feel as if I barely have enough time to make the bet, and often don't bet what I would like to bet, as I don't have enough time. I stopped manually entering bets at Bovada after once placing a 22.2 bet when I meant to do a 2.20 bet. Of course my opponent had AA, and I lost everything.
