re: Poker & Should I Play The $20+$2 9 Player?
Wow...what ^^^ said...the standard rule is never to have more than %5 of your bankroll on a table at one time. With a $70 bankroll, you shouldn't even be playing $5s, nevermind $10s or $20s!!!
Dude read the guide and the articles, and take all that info in ASAP. Believe me. I started out playing like you; trying to hop up in levels too fast and it sure as hell bit me in the ass.
I dont know how many $11 games I have played but I seem to be cashing in 3 out of 5 I play.
Again I'm not trying to be a downer, but you won't
keep these numbers up if in fact you are cashing this often.
Your priorities should be:
1) To get enough money to play at a level that you're comfortable at (Which I take it would be the $11s). So save up at least
2) Play a large sample size (I'd say 100 or 200 +) of those $11s and record how well you do. I'd say if you've got an ROI anywhere over 0%, that's fine, but I wouldn't say move to the $20s until you've got well over like %10 or %15.
