i play the EPT poker tournaments occasionally in rhode island... i went tonight and did alright (14th out of 50ish) anyways... i made it top 16 obv.

i was low chip stack at my table about 5,000 and big blind (1200)(average stack was prob like 16000) putting me at 3800 total (after bb was in) ... i had planned on pushing all in if a couple people limped in as a had a tight solid image ( raised pot, had one caller,, raised after flop, folded)(just moved to this table but had a couple of people i had played with before knew i was tight/selective aggresive) anyways before i got my chance to push all in 3rd to act pushed all in for about 14000 ( 2before folded) everyone folded to me and i thought about it and i called because i would have been blinded out anyways... he showed A3o and i had Q9 suited....

i guess my question is... did i do the right thing? or should i have waited and been down to 3200 (after BB and SB pased) or did i do the righ thing even tho it wasn't a premo hand)...

one thing i do regret was that i wasnt that aggrasive... here there was barley any showdowns where as on line which i usually play... it seems like a showdown everyhand... thank you for help and sorry for bad strucure of post as it is my first thread started
