Full Tilt has a variety of games on its poker site. I have recently seen these new games called shootouts. I have not played in any of these shootouts but have been tempted to. I would say that I am a pretty solid player heads up. It seems like the better player should win most of the time because you are starting with the same amount of chips and you only have one player to beat. Also, I have seen some of the players that are not smart. Is that normal or have I just been seeing the tournaments with the bad players? I have been wondering how diffucult they are to win? If the payouts are worth it? And if any of you guys have played them, what you think, and have you been successfull with them?

I've never played in the FT shootouts so I don't know how they pay out on those. I used to love to play in the PS $2.20 Quintuple Shootout. It fills up usually with 1024 players, there's 4 players to a table and you have to win twice to get to the money.

I keep thinking I'm going to do one of the double shootouts on PS for the Sunday Million but now I'm going to wait for the SCOOP and try to get to the main event.

I had also not played shootouts before till recently. The other day I found a 360 (or something like that) player shootout freeroll on full tilt and entered. It was great. I cannot remember exactly where I found it but Im sure if you look around at full tilt you should stumble across it. Perhaps you could a few of those freerolls before you decide on playing for cash. I still need a lot of practise in a h/u situation so will def not be playing any shootouts for cash in the near future but they really are great for confidence building.
