So I read an old article somewhere that said its possible to sell like a million play money chips of pokerstars for a profit of a dollar or two. I searched google and find a controversy whether it can happen or not. And I also find a site that says that does exactly that although I am not sure how legit is it.
Anyone have experience or know if this stills holds true or not?
that´s very intersting to now. I will serch on PokerStars

I myself did not sell game chips, but saw ads about buying / selling game chips PokerStars in Russian-language forums. I think it works, but you need to submit an advertisement and look for buyers.

You can buy/sell play money chips, not sure if its legal or stuffs like that but for sure if u find a buyer you can do it. But don't see the point buying/selling play money chips? Its better to deposit those dollars to pokerstars instead of buying play money chips...

re: Poker & Selling Play Money
Yeah I've seen those before, but never used any of the services myself. There used to be a play money game, I think a step poker type structure on Carbon Poker, that you could use play chips and work your way up to a game where you could win a little bit of money. Not much but it was something, and the pokersite was the one holding the event.
As for the play chips being sold on Pokerstars, you might want to check the ToS and be sure that it is OK to do it, as I thought it was actually against the rules, but I could be mistaken. I never really thought it was worth it when it was available to me before Black Friday, and now since I am in the USA I can't even play real money at Stars, so I haven't really looked into it. I just remember it was such a low amount of money that you would actually get, that it seemed like it would be more time conscious to just make a small deposit.
Can you transfer play money on Stars, or do you have to go HU and chip dump? I thought it was the latter and another reason why it didn't seem worth it. Though I could be wrong about that.

I have no experience and don't see how you could sell or buy play money from someone else on Pokerstars...
