I dont know if this happened to you too or nor, but I am struggling with this self exclusion button.
I tend to multitable with 4 tables cascade mode. I was playing 4xNL5, and registered at blowout 80k 5.5$ and 22$. So I was in this big freaking hand, 3$ in pot and a freaking table popped up, I wanted to minimize it when I suddenly clicked on the self exclusion button. My cash games were closed and now I cannot go back and play my freaking blowout 5.5 nor the 22 that I both won entery through a satellite, which is starting in a couple of hours. I contacted the support and explained to them thast I have accidently excluded myself for 5 times in less than a week, all because of the same freaking thing, they would hear none of it and asked me to just send the logfiles.

That does sound very annoying indeed. I play from sweden, and on 888 Poker I often accidentally open up a page, where I can self exclude. But it requires more button clicking for this to actually happen, so I simply close it down again. I guess, this is a requirement from the german government, so most likely it is your government, you need to complain to :)

Well, it is a stupid rule. You cannot send money to other players, you cannot play at more than 4 tables, a set limit per month, 5% of the winnings goes to the govt, this is just insane, after the casinos closed they are trying to make money outta players. This is just sick. I have written a letter to the rep here in my city complaining about the restrictions and how they are making playing online impossible.

Why nobody play at SwC Poker, those pirates charge almost no rake and help you launder the money.

Also there is no self exclusion button.

:)

Self-Exclusion German PokerStars

I've been "self"-excluded three times already the past week and that during two spin&gos and at lest one or two tournaments!!! When I contacted "support" I was told that it is my fault and that there is nothing they can do... The way the button and "exclusion" is set up just leads to players losing money... It would be great if the exclusion function were in the tools or settings button!
If this is a germany specific issue, how can I sign up for an non German account?

Yes, this happened to me too. The button is placed so that its extremely easy to click on it by mistake and you get no warning or notification but it instantly shuts down the program. And the ban is completely irreversible. The message i get when contacting support is its a "feature" they offer to me. I dont know why they do this but its extremely fishy and time for me to look for other sites to play.

Not just german players. I play from Sweden, and I few days ago I also hit the "panic button" by mistake, causing me to lose 30$ by sitting out for the rest of my 3 10$ SnGs, that were still running. After the "cool down" period had expired, I got a standard email encouraging me to study the "responsible gaming" information.

I replyed it saying "thank you so much for your concern, but I just hit your panic button by accident, and it caused me to lose 30$ by sitting out in my SnGs. So may I kindly suggest, you either move this button to a place, where it can not be hit by accident, or at least let their be a confirmation like "You are currently playing the following tournaments...... are you sure, you want to self exclude for 24 hours?""

Within just a few minutes they actually replyed and said, they had forwarded my suggestion to the gaming department. It dont benefit pokerstars in any way, that players self exclude for 24 hours by pure accident, since they lose out on activity and rake. So if we are really lucky, maybe they will actually listen and find a solution to this problem?
