Security Check

I tried to join unibet poker site, and they want me to send them the scanned front and back of document such as license or passport. Plus a scanned household bill. Just to sign on.

Seems kind of excessive...

I have seen sites ask for this info when you want to withdraw, but not on signup, however, I dont see any cause for concern if it is a trusted site. Only someone who is trying to multiaccount should be worried, and I am not saying that you are...just laying it out there.

Normally you have to send stuff like that when you want to withdraw cash but I have never heard of this just to sign on and I have signed on more than 50 poker sites, sounds strange.

I sent them my documentation, and they allowed me to sign up after a couple of days. They said that they randomly do these checks.
