For the past month now, whenever I log in to the Carbon client on my desktop computer (windows), I get a window popup that says something to the effect that the security certificate has not been verified. Now, after downloading the new update today, I get the same message several times, and then the client eventually crashes. Has anybody else had anything like this?

Nope, no problems here teepack, I'm not computer savy either so can't even come close to explaining what your problem is, but I have gotten that message before from other sites and it usually asks me to ok or decline it access ,sorry bud but I'm guessing someone here can explain it to you !!!

Geez. It said version 6.0 when I uninstalled it.

I deleted it and reinstalled it, and it still says version 6.0 and still gives me the same certificate errors before crashing. I also reinstalled my Adobe software to see if that is the problem. Now I'm going to restart.

No, I meant your Windows version. Is it 8.1? Adobe/Flash/Shockwave shouldn't be the source of the problem, but your browser could be. Is your default browser IE? Which version?

I have Explorer and Chrome. I think I downloaded it through Chrome. Would that matter?

No, that shouldn't matter.

Which browser is your default? Internet Explorer? I would imagine that it is.

Try making Chrome your default browser, restart your PC, and then launch your Carbon client.

Which Windows version are you on? 8.1?

no problems here
but I have problems in ACR but they fixed it.
think the problem happened on either your web browser.
just lower down the security level or reset to default options

OK, I will check that tonight. Not sure what version of Windows I'm on, but the computer is one year old, I think (or mabye two, can't remember).
