So I have been doing my research on this topic for a good week or so, and still have not figured out how it's physically possible to play the amount of hands needed to win Rake Races such as "The Beast" and "Sit n Crush", and it still be worth the amount of Rake back you get? After pushing the numbers I can see where playing 400NL, playing 11 tables, 8 hours a day, for 5 days a week could hit the top amount, but anything less you are looking at 20+ tables. With the winner making $2,500. I don't see why it would even be worth it. Figuring you would be risking over $4,400 a day. If someone came up with a better calculation then I did, please help me understand here.

Races are traps for fish. And in some cases there are to reward loyal players in the room who move large amounts of rake.

vvalente, I completely agree with this statement. It sounds like you understand with the idea. you know of any sites that have rake races that separate low stakes from high stakes, that is open to US players?
