Hey guys I am having a few peeps by on the weekend an am just wondering what the rules are having multiple players playing from same IP address. If we all play different tourneys (buy -ins) is this going to be an issue with poker stars?

I might be wrong but i've seen pro's playing the same tournament at the same location, they even got at the same table and covered cards from each other. You can all play the same tournament, but you can't share information. When you get at the same table its your own responsibility to cover cards from eachother. Sounds fun! Good luck to you and your friends. Would be prety funny if one of you get at the same table. Gotta practise that poker face just in case :D. If you want to be 100% sure its not a bad idea to contact pokerstars and ask them how it is exactly.

Hello Christopher,

Thank you for contacting PokerStars regarding your poker party.

Please note that players from the same location or household are not allowed to play at the same ring game table or Sit & Go with 45 players or less. This restriction does not apply to scheduled 2-player heads-up matches or Multi-Table Tournaments (MTTs). In heads-up matches, since there are only two players, the only person with whom you can share your cards with, is your opponent, which serves no benefit to the players participating in the heads-up match. In MTTs, due to the large numbers of players competing in these games, friends or relatives are unlikely to be seated at the same table.

When it comes to Zoom ring games, players from the same location are able to join the same Zoom pool, but the system will prevent them from being seated at the same table.

Additionally, please note that players from the same location are able to play in the same Home Game ring games and tournaments.

Please let us know if you have any other questions and thank you for playing at PokerStars.

Regards,

Ramune
